Chapter six: A Story Of Angels

~My Angel Has Good Music Taste~

"Who is God? Is he real? Does he exist? And if so, why does he let us live this way? In war with ourselves and each other, with hunger and with despair?

"So many questions, yet so less who know everything. I'm not one of those persons. I'm one of the persons who know bits and pieces, but not the whole story. I will fill things up with legends, things no one is sure of, yet everyone believes them.

"Everyone where I come from, I mean. I'm not from around here, and I travelled through worlds to get here. Where I come from, things are different. Here is everyone unsure about so much. Things that are the most easiest to understand where I come from, and it was different to blend in.

"I've been here for a long time, yet there are so many things left to learn. It is weird to know how this world started when no one here knows it. I've seen it. I've seen this world start to turn, I've seen people starting to walk on it and breath in the air around it. I've seen too many, to be honest.

"But my story doesn't start with the start of this world. It starts with The Great Ones. The Great Ones are what you would call Gods, I guess. They are beautiful, stupendous and powerful. They have great powers and gifts. But they have names, something your God doesn't have. There was Ises, the God of the stars. And his wife Niasis, the Goddess of the sky.

"In the circles of The Great Ones, the woman is always above the man. And that's why, when the twin girls Erdite and Unera were born, they were called Goddess of Night and Goddess of Day. Those were very powerful gifts, and the girls were great creators. They used their gifts good and not too much, what saved their power.

"As they learned more about themselves and their gifts, the Great Ones watched them grow into beautiful, kind and wise women. They never left each other sides, and sometimes it was difficult to tell them apart, with the same flowing brown hair, almost black eyes and dark skin tone.

"When they were still children, they had a little sister. She was not like them, at all. The little Ortris was gifted with the most golden hair you ever saw, bright blue eyes and a pale skin. She was just as smart as her sisters, but where they were the middle of attention, Ortris was often alone. She liked being alone. It helped her think. Ortris thought so much, she learned much faster than her sisters, who were a lot distracted by friends. Ortris got so smart, everyone thought she would develop the wisdom gift. But when the Gifted Day came, and she got her name and gifts, she was called Goddess of Life and Death. This made her more powerful than her sisters. But this also caused her problems. Everyone was afraid for her judgment. They thought, if she didn't like them, she would kill them. And so, everyone stayed away from her.

"While their sister sat alone and only became wiser, Erdite and Unera were given an opportunity. They could work together with a couple of other Great Ones and create a world. It would be one of the most beautiful worlds ever created. Erdite and Unera worked hard for years and years. Finally, there was a world. They called it Heaven. It was full of light and joy and beauty. For the balance of the universe, they created something else. It was dark and sad and lonely. They called it Hell.

"Ortris had gotten very lonely. One day, after her sisters' world was created, she decided to go there. She was so lonely in her own world, that she thought being completely alone would be better than being avoided the whole time. Once she fled to Heaven, she used her gift for the first time. She created friends. That may sound very sad, and it was. But Ortris was lonely and she had a gift. So she created a race, which she called Angels.
