*Wednesday*

(Josh's Point of View)
It's crazy how Arica is now friends with my girl and her girls plus all the guys are kinda cool with her now. I will say she is stepping out of her comfort zone now and I'm not sure I like it. Who would ever want their best friend to be all over other guys and dressing sexy. It's not like I like her though. That would just be weird and nasty. She's like that cousin that hang around so much at this point. She's not prettier than my girl friend anyway. I can't stand how she be all over that august dude. I get he's my boy Chris's cousin and all but he getting too damn cozy with my group of friends. Enough about them though I gotta meet the guys before school and talk about try outs for the basketball team.

Josh got ready in some sweatpants, a grey T-shirt, and some Jordan's. He grabbed a bite of food before driving to school. The whole gang was there at the school doors. I noticed my girl Star and her girls with the guys.

Star: Hey baby (kisses Josh)

Josh: Good morning sexy

Amber: Y'all cute or whateva

Just then August and Arica walked up to the group and said good morning. Lately I been noticing them getting real close and it's like she doesn't care if I'm around because he's here. It makes me feel some type of way but forget her. If she can't be a good best friend I don't need her either.

We all walked to our class which I'm not sure who decided to give us math so early in the morning. I'm not the best at math but I'm passing with a decent grade. I'm used to Arica always being there to help me study but i haven't been talking to her much. I can say she smart as hell might be the smartest person I personally know.

(Chris's Point of View)
Today's basketball try outs and I hope the guys been practicing. I want to win the championship this year and with this team we got a good chance. We can't keep getting so close just to lose again. This can help me get a lot of good scholarships for college. I have high hopes since August is here too and cous can really ball. We can't get our selves distracted by anything. No girls, parties, family drama, or school bs. We gotta focus but these knuckle heads always under they girlfriends.

(August Point of View)
Today is try outs and I'm nervous as hell. I know they ball different than back home and ion know if my normal skills can get the job done. What if I can't make the team? If I don't then that's more time for school and getting my grades good enough for scholarships. If I do make the team I'll have to juggle school and games. That means less time with Arica but I think I can schedule everything out. But then again Arica does have school, dance, and a job, plus she still has time for me.

(Arica's Point of View)
Today is the guys basketball try outs. I'm confident that they all will make the team. We all finna be super busy with sports, school, and work. Hopefully not too busy to hang out. I'm kinda liking having friends. Mostly August, Chris, and the girls. Maybe we should go to that party Saturday. It could be a little breather before we all drown in our new active lives this year. This might be perfect because the guys won't know if they made the team until Friday, and Saturday could be a way to celebrate them making the team. I could get ready with the girls and then we all can really get close. Gotta see what everybody else thinks first. Maybe this is my chance to get August to see me as more than a friend. I'll ask everybody in class tomorrow and see what they think.

(Skip forward to the next morning)

I woke up this morning craving waffles, eggs, and bacon with juice. While everyone was still sleep I made breakfast before waking them. We all ate and Chris washed the dishes so I could get ready for school. I took a quick hot shower, brushed my teeth, did a cute messy bun with a few loose curls, and got dressed in my green ripped sweat pants and the matching crop top sweat shirt. I grabbed my keys, phone, and school bag going down stairs. I locked the front door behind me and made my way to August car. We made it to school right before the bell went off, so I had to hurry to my locker then to class. August was already sitting in our seats but I was waiting for the rest of the group. I saw Chris walk in first, then the girls and the guys followed.
