Hunter's P.O.V.

And thus, we fly our way to the festival but making sure to be on the down-low once near enough. Along the way we've been talking. Me asking Luz how she knew. Amity of course. Yesterday I thought nothing would make me feel better. On the count of... Seeing Hooty's skeleton in full view.

Within my eye, we get even more closer to the public area, us all lowering till enough is having our feet licking the ground.

Luckily for me I'm wearing my hoodie. This whole festival is just an to kiss the old man's ass. In the side view of my eye is a blur of black and gre- And my scarlet eyes shine from the joy at seeing Edric here. I'm about to shout my lover's name but silencing myself to avoid drawn attention.

When walking closer to him he let's out a "HU-" But covers his mouth as that has already earned him stares from whoever heard the loud sound. With a hushed tone, he speaks again "I didn't think you'd be here. Here of all places." "Yeah, but almost every holiday us about him. Not gonna skip them all. And what's with the trench coat?" Ed chuckles at the question.

"Well I'm not selling anything illegal if that's what you think." This causes concern within me. "What if someone catches you?!" Of course saying this with still a quiet voice. "Why? Is the big bad golden guard going to arrest me?~" And to which I fake punch his shoulder as each of the family go about their business.

"Oh! I should get you a mask! Stay here!" This I think about doing myself. "No wait! Don't waste your snails on m-" Aaaand he's off. There's never a use arguing with him.

Hopefully no mishaps will happen. Things have been going well for a long time and it better stay that way. As I wait, I hear the rapid footsteps of someone rushing back but stopping at me as if time had frozen. Usually when getting me something and coming back light that, he'd shove the recently brought object into my chest but not this time. Even Edric can be sensible at times.

He knows better than to shove a Belos mask at me, so he gently holds it out to me, giving me a comforting smile. The the thought of Belos doesn't scare me like it used to, but it's different when I see a mask of his up close. Flashes of it in my mind, but I take the mask anyway. That was too long ago and I won't let it ruin my night. I place it on my face, ready for more of this night.
