Toby: How long is this "adventure" of yours Amy?
Amy: Hmmm, not sure. I guess until we find something....
You know... at times like this... I can't stop thinking about Mom. She always loved the outdoors.
And deep within the reaches of Toby's mind, it seemed to him that he was correct. Amy did miss her and so did he.
With a soft and gentle smile, Toby answered:
"Yeah, I remembered those days."
Little did they know, they were being followed by an unsuspecting character.
Amy: Toby-
Toby: Shhhhhhhh
Toby sensed something. It was peering out by the bushes. They didn't want to stick around and find out, but it was too late! A ominous figure suddenly pops out from behind the bushes. And if I were in that situation I would....
GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!
Toby: RUN AMY! RUN!!!
Amy and Toby quickly ran for their dear lives as they continously shouted to one another;
"Keep GOING! Don't look BACK!!!"
They thought that things couldn't get any worse, unfortunately, they were wrong. Another mysterious figure pops out of the darkness and ambushes Amy.
Amy: TOBY!!! HELP!! AHHHHHH!!!
Toby: GET AWAY FROM HER!!
Because of his quick-wittedness, Toby grabbed a branch by the nearest tree and started using it as a weapon. He swung in the pitch-lack and luckily struck one of them on the head. But as soon as he did this, more sounds, which seemed to be footsteps, started moving towards their direction.
Toby: GO! Come on AMY! GET-UP!
The two began sprinting again and this time, as they were running, Amy's foot was caught between two large rocks.
Amy: TOBY!
Toby tried his very best to tug-out his sisters foot from the gap, but it was no use. The footsteps were getting closer and closer. Fortunately, with a lot of brute-force and pulling, he was able to get Amy's foot unstuck.
But all of a sudden, two shadows attacked the both of them. Amy was left unconscious.
Toby: AMY!
With a stick on his hand and his lifeless sister on beside him, Toby only had one thing to do. And that was to face the black figures head-on.
As each of them surrounded him, he rapidly swung his branch, nearly missing two of them. One of the dark figures then leaped onto Toby and started ripping his backside. Two followed the same suite and began clawing his entire body.
Because of the noise, Amy woke-up and noticed that Toby was in trouble. She grabbed the nearest rock and threw it towards the bunch. While slowly limping, she called-out;
"Yeah that's right! Over here!"
All of them began to slowly move towards her.
One of them grabbed on to her and brutally scratched her right in the arm.
Amy: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her screams filled the entire forest for it was an excruciating pain.
Then, out of no where, a flash of light blinded and scared all of the black shadows away. After that, the brightness started chasing them all across the wood.
Amy: Toby? Toby?!?
With bated breath, Amy finds his brothers unconscious body and decided to look for a safe place to rest for the night. She spots a cave and limps over to it, while carrying her brothers weight. As she lays Toby's body on the ground, she removes one of her jackets and puts it over him.
Amy: It's okay Toby. We'll be fine. Don't worry, I'm here.
With her body beginning to fall asleep, at a far distance, she saw the beam of light and said in a soft whisper;
"thank-you... th-an-k-..."
Bit by bit, her heavy eyes started drooping down her face. She was very exhausted and because of her scar, she was gradually loosing a lot of blood. They were in dire need of help...
They needed a miracle.
