I was awoken by my ringing phone. It was an unknown number so I debated whether or not to answer it. What left do I have to lose? I answered the call. "I'm back Katsuki." My voice was caught in my throat until I let out a choked out sob.

"W-where have you been you fucker? H-how c-could you just fucking leave me like that!" I sobbed. "Sorry, Kat. I didn't want you to be sad. I tried to come back earlier." He said slightly chuckling. "Where are you?" "No where in particular." "Could we meet at Glitch Coffee? I know you're mad but I'll explain everything." "Fine." I said.

Kirishima left right after graduation to go to America. He deleted his phone number so I hadn't been able to contact him for six  years. Mina had known about and didn't tell me so I cut off all contact with her. I really regret it but I have too much pride to contact her.

I changed into some casual clothes and called a taxi to meet at the cafe we talked about. When I got out of the taxi, I saw a tall man with long red hair in a ponytail standing at the cafe door. He had on a cream turtle neck sweater with some jeans and a dark brown trench coat. He was holding two drinks in his hand. One iced Americano and one iced caramel macchiato.

"Katsuki!" He yelled. "Shitty hair?" I asked cautiously. "I don't know if you still like it but I bought you an iced caramel macchiato! Here!" He said, passing the drink to me. I was shocked. He changed so much. I suddenly felt kind of insecure. When Todoroki and I first got married, he made me sign a contract that I would not work as a hero.

I had gotten on the softer side, compared to highschool. He was really tall and built too. "Why're you so quiet." "I have nothing to say." He looked down at me and smiled before ruffling my hair. Shit, that felt nice. We walked in and sat at a table near the glass window.

I could feel the stares coming from the different girls in the cafe. I knew they weren't staring at me though. "How have you been?" "Same old shit." I replied chewing on my straw. "How's Todobro?" I stiffened a little before saying, "We're fine." We didn't talk much after that because I didn't feel like it.

I didn't get a chance to finish my drink before there were camera's flashing around us. It had been a while since I'd been in the spot light, so I could feel my self starting to sweat. My eyes were tearing up but I didn't want to break down in front of everyone.

I didn't notice I was shaking until Kirishima put his hand on mine. He mouthed let's go before pulling me out of the cafe. "Red Riot! Can we just get an interview?" Red Riot? I look up from my hands to see Kirishima already had sunglasse, a hat, and a mask on.

Of course, how could I have forgotten. Kirishima's hero name in high school. Does that mean even Kirishima is better than me? No, of course he is. For the past six years, while everyone was chasing their dream, I have been sitting in a lonely house all by myself.

"We should be fine here." Kirishima says after dragging me into a random alley. "Wai-" "RED RIOT?" They were paparazzi close by, and before I could realize it, my face was in Kirishima's chest. He had one arm wrapped around my face, and the other around my shoulders.

"WHAT THE HELL?" I screamed as I pushed him away. He used one hand to scratch the back of his head as he said, "Sorry... I was just trying to not let us be seen by the paparazzi. I-I won't do it again." He finished, looking down with a guilty smile.

"Whatever. It's our first time seeing each other in fucking years so let's just have fun." I said. He immediately brightened up and said, "Come  with me." He dragged me by the wrist, again, to go call a taxi. "Can't you afford a car?" "Yeah, it's  just still being shipped here." He said.

I was curious as too why Kirishima was so famous but I didn't get to ask before we got off the taxi in front of an arcade. "Come on Bakubro!" He yelled as he ran towards the entrance. I hurried to chase after him while laughing.

All day we played different games and claw machines. Kirishima got a angry pomeranian and gave ot to me saying, "It looks like you." When I responded with loud cursing, he doubled into laughter. That made me even angrier so I started to chase him around the arcade.

Eventually, security came after us so we ran. We stopped running when we got to some random park. We were both panting and laughing from what had just happened. I didn't notice until some time had passed but Kirishima had been staring at me.

I could feel my face heating up and blurted out, "I'm hungry." "Huh? Oh yeah! I know just the perfect restaurant!" He said.

He had taken me to a Chinese restaurant. Inside he ordered two spicy mapo tofu bowls. "You can eat spicy food? Since when?" "Well, I know you like it so I learned to eat it too!" I didn't know how to respond to that so I just ate my food.

When we had finished, it was 9:28. "U-um, I s-should get going. I need to leave." "Is something wrong?" Kirishima asked worriedly. "I'm just tired." "Okay..." He replied.

As we got close to the penthouse, I asked to be dropped off not too close. "Well at least let me walk you to the door." He wouldn't say no, no matter how much I argued. I just hoped we wouldn't meet the one person that could ruin it all.

We got to the door of the penthouse without seeing anyone. I let out a sigh of relief. "Today was fun. Let's go out some other time too." Kirishima said with a smile. It hade been so long since I'd seen that smile. I felt my chest tightening but I just replied with, "Yeah." He was about to say something else when the door behind me opened.

"Bakugou." A freezing cold voice said. I turned around shakily as I said, "T-Todoroki?"

I want this to be Kiribaku so bad😭 Also in case you didn't know, going over seas (especially to America) in Japan is a really big deal. Tbh I don't get it either but apparently it's because I'm American so...
