Chapter 5 : BUSY DAYS

The time started running like a cheetah in Marcus's life . For Marcus every second is like a milli second and every minute is like a second . The days continued to finish one by one . Slowly Marcus became so busy in studies . In electronic engineering the subjects were so tough , that for a student who lack good grip in subjects like mathematics has hard possibility of getting success in it . But for student like Marcus just a bit of hard work is just enough to understand the subjects and clear them in exams . So , he started working hard to understand the classes and practice if anything needed . On other hand Philip , who is a the friend of Marcus started slowly loosing intrest in electronics as the subjects were a bit complex for him to understand . To Philip all subjects in that semester were like Greek and Latin , when professors come and start teaching subjects he used to not even listen to class and simply look here and there . Marcus being his friend insisted him to listen to class so many times but Philip has no impact of his words . This continued for some months . Marcus's results started improving day by day but for Philip it's quite opposite .

One fine day , the professor who teaches digital circuits subject in Marcus's class has not arrived . He was attending a meeting in principal's cabin . So , in this meantime all students started chit-chatting among themselves . Marcus is busy in his own world whereas Philip is busy in staring at girls . His eyes were searching for the most beautiful girl in the class but he wasn't able to find one . Later the professor entered the classroom . He started giving a big announcement as soon as he entered . " LISTEN EVERYONE , I AM PROFESSOR TITUS as you all know . Our principal Liqyno had called for an important meeting today in his cabin . In his cabin he particularly mentioned about a oath ring that is given to the toppers of the batch once they get their graduation . Every year for students these rings will be presented . Once you people complete your course in future you will also be presented with the rings . So , students I hope you work hard and try to achieve those rings . All the best ! . With this the professor ended his speech .

As soon as professor's speech completed Marcus heard a random conversation between two girls on his back seat . Hey , did you hear what professor had just spoke . "RINGS " looks like this is not a university but a jewelery market . On one side that rouge Karl wears a kingpin ring and claims himself as kingpin . He thinks himself as a boss or God among everything , and now this professor is telling us about oath rings . What funny joke is this ? We came to study or we came to buy rings by paying lot of fees . The girl said . For this the second girl replied , hey ! stop talking so loud ! if Karl gets to know this he will finish you also in next 24 hours . Do you know what happened last week ? A girl from our university has rebeled against Karl's group and what happened to her? She disappeared since the next day . Some say she was rapped and murdered by those men and some claim that she just stopped comming to college due to the blackmail of Karl's men .
Hearing this Marcus mind was bit paniced as he never expected this in University so soon . He knew there are gangs in university but an action like this was far away from his imagination.
But as his policy is to never bother about the matters that are not related to him , he stayed quite . The only thing that was running in Marcus's mind is to know more about oath ring and know the procedure how to get it .
