A/N: This chapter is not included in the storyline of y/n and Vi's relationship adventure. This chapter is an angst chapter and will include death and lots of sadness and anger lash outs so viewer discretion is advised. I recommend skipping this chapter and waiting for the next chapter of the Machines & Bloody Knuckles story if you aren't here for the angst.

Lots of love, Kenma'sPS4Controller <3

Y/n and Vi were walking around the Firelights hideout for a while. Y/n was showing her all of the hidden graffiti art she did in the tunnels.

"and this one here, this is the one me and Ekko did when we first came here. I yoinked some spray-paint cans from a shop topside and just started painting." Y/n said, pointing at a graffiti art of a hourglass with gears around it. "wow.. I didn't think you'd be so.. artistic. this is all amazing work Cupcake! Why didn't you show me any of the art you did before all of this?" Vi asked, staying close with Y/n, almost teasing her about her privacy in the past.

Y/n thought for a second then shrugged "I don't really know. I guess I was always too embarrassed to show off my art. I didn't think anyone needed to see what I drew in my freetime. now, nobody knows who does this art though. only the Firelights and the new recruits see these." She ranted as she looked over the dried aging paint on the concrete walls of the sewer pipes.

Vi sighed "well..I got to see it. And I think it's fucking awesome Cupcake! hey, if we ever do get our own place one day after all of this, wanna spray paint the walls?" she said, holing her lovers hand as they walked.

Y/n's expression lit up, then she jumped into Vi's grasp "HELL YEA CHERRY!!" she yelled in excitement. She was so excited for their future together that she wanted it to be here now! but she knew she had to wait.

Vi laughed hugging Y/n back "alright alright! haha! You can paint whatever you want on the walls. As long as I get a space to paint some stuff" she said with a chuckle then gave Y/n a kiss on the cheek.

Y/n giggled "you got it red!" She then hopped down from Vi's grasp and lead her farther down the sewer pipe that Y/n called an art gallery.

They walked for a while...then they turned a corner. Trouble was waiting with some shimmer ravaged mutants. No one knew where they came from...but all that Y/n knew was that they were out to attack anything and anyone that moves. Y/n stood still once she saw the mutant's purple glow and signalled Vi to stand still. "Vi...don't...move..." she mumbled with her lips, not even daring to breathe.

Vi was confused but did as told. She trusted Y/n's word for it and stood as still as she could.

they all stared at each other for a minute...until one of them scratched out a war cry. That's when Y/n knew, a battle to the death was starting "Vi Move! Now!" she yelled as she started running from one of the monsters that was chasing her. She used what she practiced over the years and grabbed her hoverboard, flying over the Monsters, dodging their attacks.

Vi was struggling with 2 of the mutants coming at her, and Y/n took this opening to knock her bladed staff at them, knocking them to the ground "Careful Vi!"

Vi sighed catching her breath "thanks Cupcake!" and she went back to fighting them off.

Y/n was struggling as well as Vi was, But she had strategy. She looked around at anything else she could use to fight them off as she soared around, then she looked back at her crystal bombs. She flew right at the mustants, knocking one down and the other with her staff. She threw the bombs at the monsters, binding them with the wall behind them. That bought her enough time to go help Vi. She ran over to help, Stabbing her staff into the monster's chest, causing him to screech out in pain. The mutated man then pulled it out from his chest as Vi and Y/n were running away. He had eyes on his targets...then he threw the bladed staff at them.
