I walked or stumbled into the gas station and seen fez sitting on the counter with Faye.

As I walked into ashtrays freezer room he was sitting counting some money.

"Hey can we talk?"
"About what?"
"You lying about not selling anymore."
"What about you lying about staying fucking clean!"
"I didn't lie."
"You look fucking high right now!"
He looked to see if your eyes were red and
basically went full mom on me for being high.
"When did you relapse star?"
"Do you want me to be honest?"
"Yes."
"The night you left."
He looked at me with nothing but sadness and a little bit of anger. I knew he was mad but not just at me but himself as well.
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine it was gonna happen one of these days."
"Quit selling don't I don't really care anymore I still care and love about you but if it's what you want ok."
"Are you gonna get sober again."
"Probably not."
"Oh"
"I won't get that bad ever again I might fuck around but I'm not gonna get addicted again."
"Are we cool?"
"Are you still with Gia?"
"No."
"Then we're good."
I smiled and walked out to go back home. I didn't feel happy but I felt ok. I accepted ash for not changing because in my mind you can't save what can't be saved. In my opinion dealing with addicts you can't make someone want to be sober like you can't make someone love you. Ash was an addict just like me just like my mom and just like rue. While me,Rue and my mom were addicted to drugs ashtray was addicted to money and fast money but then again that's all he knew from a young age.

Next morning
I had woken up at 5:00 to get ready for school today. I needed to look pretty I was hoping ashtray would some whay notice me. I know I'm down bad but I just wanted his attention at least a little bit he had basically ghosted me the rest of the weekend after I seen him at the gas station.
