Stiles tapped his fingers on the steering wheel before honking. "Scooooottttyyyy!!! Let's gooooo!!!" he hollered before Scott finally came bounding down the steps.

"Sorry Stiles," he huffed as he climbed into the jeep. "I lost track of time."

Stiles smiled and elbowed him. "No worries. We just can't be late, or you boo will kill me," he teased as he started driving towards the school.

"Oh, shut up!" Scott scolded but with no real threat behind it. "It's not like you and Jackson are any better."

Stiles gasped feigning offense. "I resent that Scotty boy. I will have you know that Jacks and I are ten times more adorable but of course I'm biased. Plus, you've got puppy dog eyes that Izzy falls into over and over again," he teased again with a grin.

"Well, you've got Bambi eyes that make Jackson howl," Scott stated matter of factly.

Stiles blushed and turned on some music as a signal the conversation was over but not before the two of them let out a loud Awoooooooo in sync and dissolved into a laughing fit as they pulled up to the school and parked.

As they got out Stiles's magic sizzled a bit, but he was used to it by now with how many supers they had at the school it was a regular occurrence. So were his reflexes when he whipped out his lacrosse stick to catch the ball that Jackson had thrown his way. He smirked and teased much to Scott's dismay and mortification, but Stiles had no shame anymore. He was himself no matter what.

"You're ridiculous," Scott said with a sigh as the front doors closed behind them and they faced a crowded hallway.

"Yet you love me anyway," Stiles mused with a smile.

"Tolerate you is what you mean," Scott smirked, darting out of reach making Stiles's stick only catch empty air. "See you at lunch, Sti!" he cried out before disappearing into his first period classroom. Stiles rolled his eyes fondly before making a beeline for the locker room where he stashed his gear.

Stiles then headed to his first class with his bag over one shoulder. He paused seeing a guy standing at the doorway to Mr. Lewis's math classroom. He'd never seen him before, and Stiles loved the zing his magic did as he stepped closer.

"Hey there," he said, a smile forming when the guy seemed slightly startled. After a quick conversation Stiles headed to class leaving the guy to fend for himself until lunch.

Lunch was one of Stiles's favorite times of day because it meant he got to see his friends and lately he'd been missing his mom more and more. When he was surrounded by his friends things weren't so dark and painful. During his second period he'd met a girl in his grade who was new and had introduced herself as Cora Hale. Stiles was of the opinion she was one of the most gorgeous people he had ever laid eyes one. He told her as much and she blushed a beautiful shade of pink at his words. That was all it took for them to decide they were the best of friends now.

"Are you sure it's alright for me to sit with you guys?" Cora asked quietly.

"Of course it is," Stiles assured her. "We have plenty of room," he smiled before his gaze turned to Scott as Cora sat next to him. "Welcome Scotty boy. You're lucky my stick is in the locker room," he informed his friend.

"Better than in Jackson," Isaac stated as he sat down.

"Hey!" Stiles exclaimed. "Who says my stick goes in Jacks? Maybe his stick goes in me!" Stiles teased with a smirk.

Isaac rolled his eyes but laughed before Stiles's attention was drawn to a commotion by the food line. Lydia had found a new victim and Stiles was by her side instantly.
