You ran towards number nine at your fastest speed. Almost running into the guy, you ran in front of him and kicked the ball under his legs and behind him, causing you to fall in the process.
"What the-," you heard the guy say as he fell to the left.
You jumped up and started running to get the ball. Kuon got the ball and passed it to kunigami.
"Nice save," you heard Iemon say from behind you.
You smiled and gave a thumbs up while running back to your position on the side. Suddenly, mophead took the ball and passed it to someone else. After a while, raichi and imamura had their turn as center forward.
At the end of the first half, you panted as you walked to the locker room.
"FUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!" Raichi yelled as he started raging.
You ignored everything they had to say until chigiri spoke, "should we really be sticking to this tactic? If we cant bring out our weapons, we'll only be closer to defeat."
You nodded. Even though the score was 0-0, you couldn't help but to feel uneasy at the predicament team Z was facing.
"Let's stick with this tactic," Kuon spoke, "It's the only chance we have!"
You nodded, still feeling uneasy.
Now it was Gagamaru's turn. Isagi passed it to gagamaru after receiving his pass. Gagamaru hit it with his head, but it barely missed the goal.
Crud... you thought to yourself.
Suddenly, you saw isagi out of the corner of your eye going in to guard mophead.
So he noticed... you smiled to yourself, someone else caught on...
