Papa texted you this morning, mentioning he wanted to meet with you when you woke up the next day. He wanted to get you situated and feel comfortable in the church. He mentioned something about a job over text. Before he gave your phone back, he put in his number, naming himself 'papa 3 :^)' which you found pretty sweet. Though you hadn't met the other papas officially, you had seen them from afar. One was extremely tall and the other seemed older, leaning over. You wondered what they would be like, the same as Papa the Third? Or maybe a complete opposite. You shook your head, ridding yourself of those thoughts. You thought again about today, being with Swiss and sharing that one sweet moment together. His way of cheering you up was so charming, trying to get your mind off of it and making sure that you knew you were okay.
You cleaned up around your room, fixing your sheets, walking over to undress. You changed into something comfy to sleep in, some baggy clothes. Yawning, you climbed into bed, peaking out of the windows. It was still a full moon, which caused you to tilt your head. Maybe you didn't know much about the moon and it was supposed to still be full. You shook it off, your eyes wandering down to the large courtyard. It was littered with statues of goats, but more human. You weren't actually sure what they were. There was a dark fountain, three tiered, and two ghouls sitting on a bench and smoking. From that far, you couldn't tell who was who, but you watched as they looked up in the sky and blew the puffs into the air. It looked like they were talking, laughing, or something like that. You decided to let them be alone and turned back around, staring at the dark walls. You slipped under the covers and played with the tassels on the pillow, slowly drifting off into sleep.
Long hallways, dark rooms. Muffled voices, loud footsteps. You looked down, watching your own footsteps as you stepped closer and closer to a dead end. You stopped. The voices had stopped, only a grandfather clock could be heard, indicating it was midnight. It grew louder and louder, you turned around. Swiss stood in front of you, covered in a red and sticky liquid. You tried to call his name, but nothing came out. He only stared at you, reaching out his arms. Your eyes were drawn to his hands, where blood covered the majority. Cuts and bruises were all that could be seen, no skin showing. You went to roll up his black sleeves, only to find more wounds. You looked up at him, and he shook his head, no voice coming out. He was speaking but you couldn't hear him, only feeling the vibrations from his deep voice.
You woke up, sitting up in bed, looking over at the clock on your side table. 3am, again. You hadn't had those kinds of dreams since you had been here. Even if it had only been two nights, you didn't expect to have another dream. You worried about Swiss, did something happen that triggered that kind of dream? You felt sick, you hated seeing people hurt. Needing to get some fresh air, you got out of bed, slipping on some shoes and walking our your room. The hallways were dark, all the candles had been blown out. You crossed your arms, it was very cold in the church. The floorboards were very creaky as you walked, making a soft noise as you stepped. To be completely honest, you had no idea where you were going, and you didn't plan on going anywhere in particular. Just a late night walk around the giant church. The cold air filled your lungs, it was refreshing. These things always helped you calm down, just walking around with no one else to bother you. The church was creepy to say the least, various goat heads were scattered across the walls, along with other paintings and photos. The wallpapers were beautiful, and often you would stop and run your hands along the walls. So different from your old church. No one judged, no one forced you to do things you didn't want to. It was calming, and freeing. It felt nice to know you could actually do things on your own, without someone breathing down the back of your neck 24/7. Everyone is unique, no one looks the same. You were glad you decided to stay.
While lost in your thoughts, you had wandered down a darker hallway, getting a sense of Deja vu. You realized, this was the same hallway from your dream, your stomach swirled with anxiety. 'Oh fuck.' was the only proper reaction you could think of. You kept walking, closer and closer to the dead end, where only one window sat on the right wall. Your heartbeat was so fast you were sure it would pop out of your chest. Your eyebrows furred together, and you jumped when a pencil fell on the floor. Your head snapped to the right, meeting the eyes of Swiss.
