" OMG HE KISSED YOU?" Piper says, as we walk to her house.
" Yeah! I ran after it. I didn't know what to do!" I say, closing my locker.
" You've gotta tell her! Oh wait, no! She needs to know how it feels to be cheated on."
" No Pipes, I'm a good person! Imma go tell her."
I walk to the 12th grade hallway, to see Lev and Ava making out.
I clear my throat to get their attention.
" Um excuse me? May I talk to you Ava? It's kinda important."
" Aren't you the girl who took Gavin from me?" She says, looking me up and down.
" Oh um, no I-"
" Your going to prom with him, are you not?"
" Um yes b-"
" Then your the girl. Don't talk to me!"
" Ava b-"
" Are you deaf? Don't talk to me!" She says, turning back to Lev.
I get annoyed, and end up saying this: " Fine enjoy being his 2nd choice!"
" WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME" She yells, trying to act tough.
Oh you mean, Lev didn't tell you? Oh yeah- He kissed me last night! If I didn't pull away, he would have kept going. But ya know- I'm just a dumb blonde, what do I know?"
" Nothing." I say, grinding my teeth together
" Exactly! That's what I thought."
I make my way back to Piper.
" SOOooOoO- How'd it go?"
" I'll tell you later. I've gotta go, I've got PE in a few minutes."

11 WEEKS TILL PROM
" SoooOoOO, you never told me what happened at you and Gavin's hang out." Piper says, eating back licorice( YUCK!).
" I thought I told you."
" Well YA didn't! Tell me!"
" Well..."
FLASHBACK TO LAST WEEK...
" I'll see you in a few hours Stef, I'm going to hang out with a friend."
" ok. tell piper I said hi." He says, playing his video games.
" It's not Piper."
" Then who is it? You have no other friends."
" None of your business! Bye!" I say, walking out the door.
I walk to a near by Starbucks, and wait for him there. About 10 minutes later, Gavin walks up. He looks amazing!
" H-Hi Coco." He says, with a big goofy smile.
" Yo! So where do you want to go?" I say.
" Oh um- I saw this indoor sky diving place, and I think I'd be fun to try out."
Skydiving? um NO-
" Sure, sounds fun!" I say, nervously.
" K! It's like 30 minutes away tho. Is it ok if I call my brother? I don't have a car yet."
" Yeah it's fine."
He pulls out his phone, and starts dialing a number.
" Hey Walkie Talkie! um can you come pick me and a friend up? yeah.... So what? Dude shut up! She's actually really cool... YOU WOULDN'T! Ugh whatever, your ridiculous. Ok bye."
He turns to me, putting his phone in his pocket.
" He'll be here soon. While we're waiting, do you wanna grab some Starbucks?"
" Yes!" I say, giving him a small smile.
We order our drinks, and get to know each other.
I never thought I'd say this but....
Gavin's really nice!
Looks like I've gained a new friend!

" COCO, YOU'VE GOTTA GET IN THERE!" Gavin yells, over the loud blowing air.
" DID I MENTION I'M SCARED OF FLYING?" I yell back. I look at Gavin, as my heart races.
" I'LL GO WITH YOU!"
" WHAT?"
" HUH?"
" WHAT?"
" LET'S GO!" He yells, pulling me in. I scream as we rush up to the top.
Gavin the whole time, didn't let go of my hand.
I laugh as I realize how stupid my fear was.
That was really fun!
We get out, letting other people have their turns.
" Gavin, that was really fun! Thank you sooooo much for going in with me."
" No problem! It was fun hearing you scream for your life." He says, laughing.
After 3 hours of skydiving, we go get some food.
We went to this really good vegan restaurant. I got Gavin to try tofu, which he ended up spitting out.
We shared so many laughs in that restaurant.
After eating lunch, we got shaved ice.
Today was really fun! I'd love to hang out with Gavin again!

" Oh yeah, you've told me this before!" Piper says, finishing off a bag of chips.
" I knew it! Apologize!" I say.
She pulls a bag of hot Cheetos out her pillow case, and hands it to me.
