10 WEEKS TILL PROM...
" Coco, just trust me!" Piper says, pulling me towards Gavin.
" Piper this is stupid-"
" Oh hey guys." Gavin says, looking up from his phone.
" Hi- Kiss Coco if I'm wrong, but 12+12+ is 8 right?" Piper says, wiggling her eyebrows.
I roll my eyes.
" Ignore her."
" NO don't ignore me."
" No PLEASE do!" I say.
" Um.... I've actually gotta go- BYE!" Gavin says, bolting towards the hallways.
I sigh, and turn to Piper.
" WHY'D YOU DO THAT?"
" I DON'T KNOW!" She says, with a smile on her face. I rolled my eyes, annoyed with her.
All of a sudden, Ava come bolting down the hallways towards me.
" YOU!" She screams, running towards me. Before I could say anything, she slapped me!
" WTF? WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" I yell.
" YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY, YOU SLUT!"
Right then I lost it.
I grab her by her hair, and threw her at my locker. Before she could even react, I kicked her so hard in her stomach, I swear I felt it.
Gavin comes running down the halls.
He grabs my arms, pulling me away.
" SAY THAT AGAIN! SAY IT AGAIN AVA!" I say yelling at the girl, who's boyfriend was now holding her back
" I'LL SAY IT NOW, I'LL SAY IT AGAIN YOU SLUT! YOU SLEPT WITH MY BOYFRIEND! FACE THE CONSIQUENCES!"
" HOLD UP! Coco never slept with Lev! First of all, who'd sleep with a boy that ugly? Second, He kissed her and she tried telling you, but your dumb ass couldn't take in that information! Third, If you wanna call anybody a slut, you should be saying it to the boy who's behind you!" Piper said, crossing her arms.
" WHAT? NO! MY LEVBEAR WOULD NEVER!"
" GIRL- ONCE A CHEATER, ALWAYS A CHEATER!" Me and Piper yell.
Lev's cheeks slowly turn pink. Ava turns around to see him.
" Tell them you didn't do it!" She says.
Lev just stands there, in silence.
" TELL THEM!"
" I-I can explain-"
Ava stands there in shock.
She looks around, to see everyone surrounding us filming.
She runs off, in embarrassment.
I ignore the glares, and follow Ava. As she runs into a bathroom stall, I walk into the bathroom.
" Ava? Listen I don't want to fight, I want to know if you're ok." I say, standing at the stall she's in.
She stays silent.
The stall door opens quickly, and I'm hit with arms wrapping around my neck.
" Why would he do this?" Ava says, tears running down her face.
" I don't know. It's gonna be ok Ava- I swear. You don't need him!" I say, trying to keep my tone calm.
" Is this how I made Gavin feel? I'm such a bad person!" Ava says, fanning at her eyes.
" Hey listen- Everyone makes mistakes! Gavin got over it, just like you will. Now stop crying, and let me help you clean yourself up!" I say.

I wipe Ava's tears, and grab my makeup bag. I fix her mascara, and wipe the black lines off her face I put some of my concealer under her eyes, attempting to make them look less puffy.
" Why are you being so nice to me? We literally just threw hands in the hallway!" Ava says.
" Cause.... I don't like having enemies. And plus, you didn't punch me in the face when I opened the door!" I say.
I finish, and walk out the bathroom with her.
We walk towards my locker to see Gavin waiting there.
" Gavin, what are you doing here? Class started 10 minutes ago." I say, looking at him sitting on the ground.
" If your gonna be late, I'll be late with you. Plus, what if you needed something from your locker, and I wasn't here to get it? Like a pad, or tampon?" Gavin says, so casually.
Aw that's sweet! Ya know Coco, i'm really starting to like this dude!
I smile at him, being all adorable.
" Well we're already late. How 'bout we all go get some Chick-Fil-A?" I bend down, so me and Gavin were eye to eye.
" mhm ya no! My dad will kill me. Yall have fun tho!" Ava says, walking to her class.
When she walks away, Gavin looks at me.
" I guess it's just you and me then" He says.
" yup.... just you and me"
" yeah" He says smiling.
