" I know. What's up?" I say, starting to feel nervous myself.
" Oh um- So I know we don't l-like know each other at all. I mean, the only times I've seen you is when your with Piper.... Um anyways-"
" Let's hang out! I-I'm free tomorrow?"
" Y-Yes! Perfect! Um yeah. S-see you then!" He says, turning around.
" Stupid Gavin! What was that stuttering anyways?" He whispers to him self.
As he gets farther from us, I start smiling more.
" Aww Gavin going back to his nerdy habitat!" Piper says. I hit her arm, as I open my locker.

" MOM! I'm home!" I yell walking in, with Stefan.
" IN THE KITCHEN!" She yells back.
I walk into the kitchen, to see her baking.
She NEVER bakes....
" Um mom.... What's going on?"
" nothing...."
" Mhmm sure. Um- I got an A- on my algebra test." I say, slowly putting my backpack down.
" OH THAT'S GREAT! WHOOO!" She yells.
" Ok now I definitely know something's up! Mom what are you hiding?"
" WhAaaaaAT? No-"
" Jennie, don't tell the kids about the divorce- Oh.... Hey kids" Dad says, turning the corner to the kitchen.
" WHAT?..... You guys are getting divorced?" I say, in disbelief.
I look at Stefan.
He just stood there in silence.
" Kids it's not what y-"
Stefan ran out the room.
" If you think this is making our lives better, you must be fucking delusional!" I say, quickly going to look for Stefan.
I run to his best friends house, knowing he's there. I bang on the door, till they answer.
" WHAT DO YO- Oh hey Coco!"
" Is Stefan here?"
" Um I don't know. Let me ask Lev. Come in!" They say, letting me in.
" LEV!" They yell.
" HUH?"
" WHERE'S STEFAN?"
" IN MY ROOM!" He yells back.
We walk upstairs to Lev's room, to see the door wide open. I look straight ahead, and see Stefan.
I walk over to him, and give him a huge hug. He slowly accepts the hug, and starts crying.
" I don't know what to do" He whispers in my ear.
" It's gonna be on Stef! We'll get through this together." I say to him, holding him as he crys.
We end up spending the night.

I wake up in the middle of the night, feeling hot. I get up, and go downstairs.
Once I get down there, I notice the light's on. I walk into the kitchen, to see Lev.
" Hey"
" Hey. Sorry if I woke you-"
" No you didn't wake me! What woke me, was how hot your house is." I say grabbing a cup.
" Hot? You mean cold!"
" nah it's burning in here. So I'm guessing you messed with the thermostat?"
" Yeah. I'll turn it down-"
" No it's fine. Your house, your temperature. I'll just take a quick walk, and be fine."
" Are you sure?" He says. I realize how close he is to me.
I knew what was about to happen....
" Lev-"
And that's when it happened.
He kissed me....
I didn't kiss him....
I quickly push him away, and run outside. I start walking.
Why didn't I stop him sooner?
Ugh your so stupid Coco.
As I walk I see a familiar face, sitting on the curb. As I get closer, I see it's Gavin.
He looks tired...
And kinda sad....
I stand there, looking at him. I leave, before he notices I was even there.
I go to bed, wishing I had done something different....
