Grace Meets Shrek

Chapter 5

They went inside and it looked a bit spooky, Grace was holding on to Shrek's hand as they walk around

"You afraid?" Donkey whispers to Shrek

"No, but shhh" Shrek said

"Oh good, me neither" Donkey said, then as he was talking, he tripped into a knight skeleton and he had a knight on him

"Donkey, 2 things, alright. Shut... up" Shrek said and took the knight helmet off of Donkey and put it on "now go over there and see if you can find any stairs"

"Stairs?" Donkey confused "I thought we were lookin' for the Princess"

"The Princess will be up the stairs in the highest room in the tallest tower" Shrek said

"What makes you think she'll be there?" Donkey said

"I read it in a book once" Shrek said as he leaves and puts on the knight stuff

"Cool! You handle the dragon, I'll handle the stairs!" Donkey said and he left

"Wait Shrek, what do you want me to do?" Grace asked

"You can stay right here so you don't look for trouble" Shrek suggested

"Hey I don't go looking for trouble, trouble usually finds me" Grace said

"Just stay here, okay" Shrek said and he leaves

"Fine! So Donkey goes find the stairs and Shrek goes to rescue the princess while I just sit here do nothing" Grace said to herself and sighed "wait, is this the time when Donkey sees the-"

"DRAGON!" Donkey shouted, he ran out of the room and a fire came out of it

Grace gasped when she sees the female dragon coming to her

"DONKEY, GRACE LOOK OUT" Shrek said as he gets them out of the dragon's way

As the dragon was about to eat Donkey, Shrek grabbed her tail, Donkey managed to run off but then the dragon swings Shrek around with her tail and she made Shrek to let go and he flew up to the tower and he fell in the towers where the Princess is

"SHREK" Grace screamed but she decided to ran off to get away from the dragon

She ran to the other room of the castle, she decided to look for the others, but as she walks around she realized that she's lost

A while later, she heard a dragon roared which makes her scared and she screams as she runs "SHREK, DONKEY WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Then she bumped to someone and it was Princess Fiona

"Oh my, are you alright?" Fiona asked

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see" Grace said

"It's alright" Fiona said "what are you doing here, it's too dangerous for you to be here all alone"

"I wasn't alone" Grace said

"Oh were you with Sir Knight?" Fiona asked

"Sir Knight?" Grace asked but she might talk about Shrek "yeah I was but we got separated from the dragon"

Then Shrek and Donkey were coming towards, Shrek noticed Fiona and Grace, so he said "Grace, get on my back"

Grace climb on the rock, then Shrek grabbed Fiona and Grace jumped on Shrek's back and wrapped her arms around his neck as he continued running

"Hi, Princess!" Donkey said

"It talks!" Fiona said

"Yeah, it's getting him to shut up that's the trick!" Shrek said

They stopped, the dragon roared and he slide down, as he got to the ground and continued running as the dragon runs after them

They ran all over the castle, then Shrek put them down and said "okay you three, head to the exit"

They ran off but they stopped to wait for Shrek, then he ran to them and they ran to the bridge but then the dragon burned off the bridge but they managed to grabbed on the bridge

Then the dragon was about it to get them but she got caught from the chain which was Shrek's plan and they climbed up to leave as the dragon roared at them
