Grace Meets Shrek

Chapter 2

At the swamp, an ogre named Shrek was followed by a Donkey name Donkey

As they got to the door of Shrek's house, Donkey asked Shrek "can I stay with you?"

"Uh what?" Shrek said

"Can I stay with you, please?" Donkey said

"Of course" Shrek replied

"Really?" Donkey said

"No" Shrek said as he was about to turn back to Donkey

Donkey was begging him to stay and then Shrek finally said "okay, okay, but one night only"

When Shrek opens the door, Donkey immediately ran into the house and he said "oh this is going to be fun, we can stay up late, swapping manless stories in the morning, I'm making waffles"

Shrek growled

"Where do I sleep?" Donkey asked

"Outside" Shrek replied as he pointed outside

As Donkey was about to go outside, the wind came and he said "what's going on?"

"It's just the wind, it's not going to hurt us and it's not like something is going to happen" Shrek said

Then the light appeared on the hill and Grace came out and as the wind and the light disappeared, she tripped and fell and rolled down the hill and as she got to the ground, she looked up and saw Shrek and Donkey

She whispered "it's Shrek and Donkey"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?" Shrek shouted and it made Grace terrified

"Shrek, how dare you tried to scare a little girl" Donkey said when he goes up to Grace

"I'm an ogre" Shrek said "I'm supposed to be scary"

As Grace covered her face, Donkey rubbed her head with his head, tries to comfort her and said "it's okay"

She looked up and she decided to pet him and said "thank you"

As Shrek shuts his door, Donkey and Grace started to chat and introduced themselves

At night, Grace was in front of Shrek's house, sitting against it, Donkey came to her and said "I guess Shrek will never let us in or have something to eat, you must be starving Grace"

"Yeah" Grace said "I'm used to be starved at the orphanage"

"What?" Donkey confused

"Miss Fickle the owner, she only lets me eat if I got chores done or sometimes when we have visitors" Grace said

Then a few minutes later of silence, they heard a door opening and they thought it was Shrek checking on them, but then Shrek said "I thought I told you to stay outside"

"I am outside, with Grace" Donkey said to Shrek

Then all the suddenly, Grace and Donkey heard noises and they saw people in the swamp, people were in their fire and doing their stuff

When Grace saw witches flying, she immediately grabbed Donkey for life

When Shrek threw a wolf in a nightgown out of his house and saw everyone and he said "no, oh no, no, NOOO"

Donkey said to Grace "you might wanna cover your ears"

As Grace covered her ears, Shrek shouted "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?"

Everyone stopped and shocked and Shrek was trying to get them out of the swamp and some of the people got into his house and he stared at Donkey and Grace and Donkey said "don't look at me or her, we didn't invite them"

"Well of course nobody invited us" Pinocchio said

"What?" Shrek said

"We were forced to come here" Pinocchio said

"By who?" Shrek said

"Lord Farguaad" The pig said "he walked or deport or he.... signed to an eviction notice"

Shrek sighed and said "alright, who knows where this Farguaad guy is?

"Oh I know" Donkey said "I know where he is"

"Does anyone else know where to find him?" Shrek said "anyone at all, anyone?"

"Oh oh pick me, I know, I know me, me" Donkey said while jumping up and down

"okay, fine" Shrek said "attention all, fairy tale things, do not get comfortable, you welcome is officially worn out, in fact, I'm gonna see this guy Farguaad right now, and get you all off my land and back where you came from"

Then the fairy tale creatures applaud and then Shrek said to Donkey and Grace "you two, you're coming with me"

"Alright, that's would I like to hear man" Donkey said "Shrek, Donkey and Grace, three stalwart friends off on a whirl world big city adventure, I love it" and Donkey and Grace follows Shrek

When Donkey was singing "On The Road Again", Shrek said to Donkey when he took Grace's hand "what did I just say about singing?"

"Can I whistle?" Donkey asked

"No" Shrek said

"Can he hum?" Grace asked

"Alright" Shrek said

Donkey stared to hum while Shrek being annoyed by it
