Chapter 4 part 1: A sudden reunion

It had been a couple of hours since Izuku and Fuyumi got away from the explosion. Already tired, Izuku was about to collapse from the extreme exhaustion he was feeling. Between fighting that supervillain and the other fights before that one. Also having to care for Fuyumi still unconscious didn't help much either. The last one wasn't a big bother to Izuku for several reasons. The obvious one was because she saved him. Even if it was only for a moment she gave him the time he needed to get the upper hand. As he jumped from the rooftops he couldn't help but look at Fuyumi. More specifically where she got hit and just like that the rage came back to Izuku. Also, another emotion he hadn't felt in a long time. Like the rain that was pouring down, so were his tears.

Fuyumi on the other hand was completely unconscious and was dreaming. Dreaming about that awful night she got the news about Izuku. She remembered it so clearly and vividly that it hunts her some nights. Fuyumi was in the kitchen making some dinner for her family. Shoto was still in the dorms but with a bit of convincing the school let him visit for a little bit. As that was going on she also got in touch with the hospital her mother was at. She begged them to let her out of the hospital for about 2 to 3 hours or a whole day if they could. The doctors, while not opposed to the idea, also had to put some strict guidelines for her mother. It involved things like not being left alone without a family member. Not doing extreme tasks... etc etc. Out of all the rules, she remembers the last one was the most important. "Miss Fuyumi," the head doctor of Fuyumi's mother said. "You mustn't have any 'complications' when you're having your little family get together" Fuyumi just stood there and asked him about these 'complications' "well," said the doctor "Just don't let her see or feel anything that can trigger an episode attack ok?" She nodded letting him know there won't be any problems.

After that, they released Rei the day after giving her a list of instructions to follow once out of the hospital. Fuyumi and her mother spend the rest of the day chatting and bonding. Eventually coming to their home Rei was hesitant about entering. Fuyumi noticed this to grab onto her mother's hand and said "He's changed a lot and for the better." Rei looked at her daughter and let out a little smile. She knew there was still a long way for her to recover. Even still she was getting better and stronger each day. Coming close to when the rest of the guests are arriving. Fuyumi was all done with the food and now needs to get the table ready. That's when she heard a knocking on the front door. As she got closer to answer she smelled something awful coming from the other side. She opened the door and was greeted by her father falling over in front of her. Fuyumi's memory was a little foggy when it came to this part but from what she remembers it was all too surreal. 

She remembers screaming out loud, next was her mother running to see the commotion. Her mother looks down at Endeavor's blood-soaked body and had a terrified expression. After Fuyumi got over her little panic attack she quickly looked at her mother. She tried to reach for her hand but before she could grab it, Rei spoke. "Fuyumi listen to me very carefully.'' She had a very shaky tone to her voice but still commanding. "I need you to grab the medical kit from my room and warm water now please." The girl heard her mother's words but couldn't move a muscle except for the occasional spaz. Fuyumi tried talking to her mother again but that's when Rei snapped her head to Fuyumi yelling "FUYUMI IF YOU DON'T DO AS I SAY RIGHT NOW YOUR FATHER IS GOING TO BLEED TO DEATH!!!" Fuyumi, no longer wasting time, went and grabbed everything her mother needed. All that was left was for Rei to patch up Neji.

All the while he was trying to talk to his wife saying things like he's sorry for everything he's done to his family. Sorry for treating her like shit. Also making Shoto's life a living hell all because of his desperation to try and beat All Might. The list of regret went on and on and Rei finally understood Neji her husband had changed. Fuyumi felt joy that their parents were finally coming back to reconcile things and that's when the person she loved crossed her mind. Fuyumi leaned down and all but almost pushed her mother out of the way. In a very nervous and semi calm expression said "Dad where's Izuku? Is he with you here or outside?" Her mother tried to push her away to give Endeavor some space but with his good hand told her to come closer. In barely a whisper and little strength, he managed to say "Izuku...is...gone..." Before he could say anymore he passed out. Fuyumi got up from her father having a horrifying expression on her face. "No...no he's not gone...he can't be...h-...oh my god." Fuyumi gets up and starts running for her bedroom. Rei tried to wake Neji up but to no avail.
