Kelly POV

A couple days later she took Beyonce to Shawn's to get her belongings while he was gone to avoid any conflict.

The blonde put her bags in the trunk before coming up to the front with a smile causing her to smile back widely.

"You got everything you need for now?"

"Yeah. Step on it baby!"

She shook her head smiling a little as she drove off making her way back to her place.

Almost an hour later they were back bringing the stuff up with the help of the doorman.

"Thank you Idris." She said as he brought the last bag in.

"Anything for you Kelly" he smiled sending her a wink before he walked out giving Beyonce a wave.

Kelly rolled her eyes with an amused smile as she began scanning her eyes to make sure they brought everything up. When she looked to the blonde she noticed her glare causing her to raise a brow.

"What I do this time Bey?" She asked curiously

"Nothing. You're fine." She said crossing her arms continuing to have the same look on her face.

Kelly sighed shaking her head already knowing what it was about because she constantly had to deal with it. 𝐽𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑦.

"We are just friends babe." She reassured placing a hand on one of her crossed arms squeezing it.

"Stop being a baby all the time and let's get ready for this get together with your family."

Beyonce huffed out before rolling her eyes.

"I don't even want to go! I already know what they are gonna say."

"It doesn't matter what they say because I'm by your side and I'll be right there." She said placing a sweet kiss on her lips causing Beyonce to finally relax.

"Okay.. okay. I'm getting ready. Come shower with me?" She asked hopefully.

Kelly smiled as they made their way to the restroom.

"Baby! Is this good?" She asked looking in the mirror showing her chocolate skin against the satin emerald green dress.

Beyonces mouth went dry at the sight of her eyeing her adoringly.

"You look really pretty. But you knew that already."

Kelly blushed before looking over at the blonde smiling "you look beautiful as always." She said kissing her softly as the feeling lingered throughout her body when she pulled back. When she opened her eyes she saw Beyonce with a sweet smile on her face with a hint of blush causing her heart to swell.

"Well we better get going." She forced out.

On the ride to the Knowles house she could practically hear Beyonces heart beating through her chest and it didn't get any better when they got to the front door.

In attempt to ease some of the nerves she reached out grabbing the seemingly stressed woman's hand only for her to pull back in panic when the door opened.

Her face crumbled with sadness at the rejection but recovered giving the doorman a quick smile as they entered their home.

"Oh! My baby! I haven't seen you in forever" an older woman said as she approached them. The woman was about a shade lighter than Bey and had her hair similar to the hair of the woman she loved.

"I saw you last month momma." She chuckled with a roll of her eyes as she brought her into a hug visibly being less tense.

"That feels like forever" she said pulling back.
