Chapter 23

Sara P.O.V
I heard everything that she said. it was a horrible scene. Cassandra said if I was pregnant, then she would take my baby from me. "bring her to the lab to see if she is pregnant" Cassandra said. then her guards took the cages and Julie and nick too. Then we ended up at her glass tower. she then took me in a place that looked like the hospital place. "Check right now!" Cassandra yelled. then they set the cage on the bed and let me free but they took me out forcefully. they chained me to the bed and they took out some kind of machine. "we may need to wait a while, it takes at least 5 hours to check if it is official" one of the lady's said. "I WANT THE RESULTS NOW!" She yelled "but in order to do that, a DNA of a guy must be given to me, in order to check it now" the lady explained. "great! Just get Kenny's saliva or fur or whatever" Cassandra explained. "right away"
Kenny's P.O.V
They took me in a room filled with other foxes. "your new home you nasty ugly creature" the guard said. I was in another cage alone, I look to the side and there were many different foxes, laying there like they have no hope. I laid down too and I started to miss Sara. I hope she is not pregnant, because if she is, then Cassandra will take her baby. "get Kenny!" One of the guards yelled. then I stood there in horror as one of the guards took me out of the kennel and into another room. "we should take his fur" the guard said. wow I'm a fox and I'm going to become bald too. then they took out some scissors. "get ready!" The guy said. I closed my eyes and then I realized he only took a piece of my fur.
Sara P.O.V
the man came back holding some hair. "here is Kenny DNA" he said. "good....NOW CHECK!!!" Cassandra yelled. then she took a stick thing and put it around my belly. "looks like she-" then Julie and nick came bursting through the door. "surprise!" Nick yelled "no! I was about to find out if she was pregnant or not!" Cassandra yelled. "too bad!" Julie yelled and she made an ice ball and aimed it at Cassandra. but she easily dogged it. "Don't you remember that I gathered all my power from Layla and I'm stronger than both of you combined!" She yelled. then nick made a ball of fire and Julie made an ice ball and they combined there powers to make a huge green ball. "now!" Nick yelled. then they shot it towards Cassandra and she went flying backwards which made a big hole in the wall. then they attacked the lady's and Julie set me free."c'mon let's get out of here!" Julie yelled. she picked me up and we went to the staircase, then the building started shaking. then nick came out of nowhere. "the building is collapsing!" Nick yelled with Kenny in his hands. "Then let's fly out of here!" Then somehow Julie made a basket to put me in and she started flying out with me in a basket on her back. I look back and the whole glass tower collapse quickly. "Do you think Cassandra did this?" I asked "I don't know, and if she did, she is really crazy" Julie said. I looked back again and there was black smoke coming right towards us. "Julie you better hurry" I yelled. Julie looked back. "nick we have to go faster!" Julie yelled. sadly we weren't fast enough and we were in the smoke. Julie tried getting through it, but we both kept coughing. Julie stopped flying and we were going towards the ground. then somebody grabbed me so I was out of the basket "juuullliiiieee!!!!!!" I yelled and somebody threw me the other direction and I was out of the smoke and getting miles and miles away from the smoke. I closed my eyes because I was going to die because I'm a fox. then I landed in a lake. I felt something weird and I Swam up. I swam to shore and I couldn't say anything. I was alone. I looked down and I was a human again! But I still had fox ears and tail. "Great" I said. "I tried walking, But I haven't been on two legs in a while, so it felt kinda weird. either that or the part of the fox still wants me to run on four legs. I go on 4 legs or now since I'm half human, 2 legs, two arms. I walk around the forest and there was no city in sight. I must be really far away from the city. "wow I am really far away". I said to myself. "I'm all alone" I said. "your not alone"
Kenny's P.O.V
I was on nicks back in a basket and I saw the big cloud of smoke from the tower dome towards us. "Nick we have to go faster!" Julie yelled. then nick went a little faster. I look back and saw that Sara and Julie weren't fast enough and they were in the smoke. "nick! Julie wasn't fast enough! She is in the smoke!" I yelled. "that's it!" He yelled. I look at nick and his eyes were glowing. then he made a small ball of air and pushed it towards the smoke. "that's it! That's not going to help u-" then the ball of air exploded so that we could see through the smoke. then we saw Julie going towards the ground. "jjjuuuuullliiiieee!!!!!" I heard someone yell. I look to the side and Sara the fox was going another direction. "Sara!" I yelled. "Julie!" Nick yelled and nick went towards Julie to try to catch her and he did. Then nick landed on a roof top. he set Julie on her back and I crawled out of the basket. "JULIE! CAN YOU HEAR ME JULIE!" Nick yelled. then Julie started coughing and opening her eyes. "N-nick?" Julie said and nick hugged her. "don't scare me like that!" Nick said "ill try" Julie said with a faint smirk. I went went over to Julie. "you ok?" I asked "I'm ok Kenny" then she easily standed up. "where is Sara?!" Julie said suddenly. "for some reason she went the opposite side you were going miles away" I explained "we have to find her" nick said. I closed my eyes for some reason and I felt something and I don't know how to explain it, but it felt weird. I open my eyes and Julie and nick have a shocked expression on there face. "what?" I asked "y-y-your" nick tried to say. "just look down" Julie said. I looked down and I had legs! "I am back to Normal?!" I yelled. "not totally, feel your head" Julie explained. I touched it and I realized I still had foxes ears. then I looked back and realized I had a big bushy tail. "Ok.....why is this happening?!" I yelled. "i really don't know" nick said. "Can you still fly?" Nick asked. "lets see!" I said. I was so stupid, I decided to jump off the building to see if I could fly. "I CANT FLY" I yelled, and I went down to the ground. nick tried to reach for me to grab his arm and I did the same. for some reason I went faster down and a black hole appeared. "NICK!"
