Chapter 3

Great... Another day to go to school. what's worse is that I have to sit next to Kenny. I guess I really haven't made a real friend. I wake up, eat my breakfast, and wait for the bus. As I get on the bus the first person I see is Kenny. I run to the back of the bus and found an empty seat. I don't think Kenny noticed me, which was great, I don't want to talk to him after what he did to me. I really thought he was my friend, but as always people don't keep there promises. "Hey! That's my seat you faggot!" Great now the meater is gonna bother me... Again. "I don't see your name on it" I said. I had to stand up for myself because if I don't, I'll be an easy target. "I don't care if it doesn't have my name on it's an empty seat and I want you off of it" "what is your name? I know you call yourself the meater but... that's not your real name" "ITS MITCH...NOW GET OUT OF MY SEAT!" "NO!!" I yelled Kenny then comes over to see what's wrong. " Mitch look just leave her alone ok?" Kenny said "no! How can you be on her side, dude we have been friends since 5th grade and your gonna stand up for a girl you just met?!" He looks at me with worried eyes. here is the time Kenny if you are my friend.... Then help me. I thought. "um... Sara just get out of his seat" I guess he's not my friend then. I quickly move to another seat and start to cry. I hate this school, Kenny told me it was gonna be the greatest school I have ever been too. I guess it's not. As the bus comes to a complete stop, I quickly get off the bus as fast as I can and ran to my locker. I opened it and grabbed my stuff and went into the classroom and sat there crying even more. I start to fall asleep and the next thing you know everything is pitch black.
"Sara...." I heard someone call my name. Was I dead? "Who's there?" I said. Then a girl with gray hair and blue flowers on her head came towards me. but as she gets closer and closer, I see that she has wings! "Sara. my name is Julie. I am a winged beast" "a winged beast?" " Yes and I need to tell you something important...u you have powers, I know it might be hard to understand... but it's true. you are the next winged beast that will live on this planet" " I have p-powers?! How do I control them?!" " You have to figure it out yourself... but to give you a hint... Tomorrow morning when it rains go outside and follow where the wind takes you.. goodbye." she turns around and walks back "WAIT!" I yelled i didn't know what to do I tan toward but it seems like I was in one place even though I was running. then I wake up.. I see that I am still in the classroom.. alone. if I have powers then.... I'm gonna become a winged beast! I wondered why do they call themselves the winged beast? Are they beast? Who knows, but I can feel myself trembling with fear. Why was I scared? I didn't know. As I child I always dreamt about having powers and played outside near the water and pretend I control the waves. then all of a sudden someone taps my shoulder. I look back and it was Kenny "Kenny I-" I get cut off because he quickly put his lips on mine. I was shocked, I didn't know what to do! So I kissed him back and about 20 seconds later we pull apart. "I love you sara"
