The Land of Fire
At Konoha's entrance,
A massive crowd could be spotted at Konoha's main entrance gate.
They were all wearing headbands from various little villages.
"So this is Konoha, and it's not what I expected."
At this point, three children and a Jonin with black hair and a Mist headband emerged at Konoha's entrance.
Mei was taken aback when she glanced at the massive entrance in front of her, seeing people come and go and feeling the warm air without the scent of blood.
"One day, our village will be even prosperous than Konoha."
Aokiji, who stood beside her with a determined expression on his face, remarked to Mei and Ichiro.
Aokiji envied the warm air devoid of blood and wished Mist could be like this as well.
Even if things have changed dramatically in the last three years, the consequences of the prior severe policies are difficult to undo.
Even if the graduation exam is much simpler now, it will take time to replace the previous generation's callous mindset.
"Try not to relax your guard; while our relationship with Konoha isn't horrible, it's also not so excellent that you can be fully worry-free."
Behind Aokiji, Mei, and Ichiro stood a new face with black hair, not Daikichi.
Asahi Yuki is a competent Jonin from the Village and a member of the Yuki Clan.
Daikichi, as the chief of the Yuki Clan and one of the strongest in the Mist, could not accompany Aokiji and others on such a long journey.
As a result, Daikichi assigned a trustworthy subordinate to be the Chunin Exam's head Jonin Instructor.
"You got it, Sensei!!!"
When Aokiji and his colleagues heard his warning, they nodded in agreement.
*An equally powerful darkness lurks beneath this prosperous village"
Aokiji thought, because no one knows Konoha better than he does.
"All right, let's go."
Asahi said to the three of them as they approached the two guards holding documents at the entrance.
"Uchiha!"
When Aokiji and others saw the crest printed on their backs, they quickly identified which clan these two belonged to.
"So they were the ones who forced us to leave this Land."
Mei stared at them and remembered a well-known tale about her clan.
The Uchiha Clan chased the Kaguya Clan out of the Land of Fire.
But Mei felt no enmity for the Uchiha Clan, as she had no affection for the bastards in her own clan, and all she wanted was to become stronger.
"Please report your name."
When the Uchiha guards saw their headbands, they instantly inquired for their names.
Mei Kaguya
Ichiro Hozuki
Aokiji Yuki
"I'm their leading Jonin, Asahi Yuki."
Aokiji and others quickly reported their names as a surprised expression appeared in the eyes of Uchiha Guards.
*It seems Mist is pretty serious for this exam, sending kids from the Big Clans*
Thought the Uchiha guards, who were aware of the Big Clans.
After a brief moment of astonishment, they hastily wrote their names and handed them the entry permit.
Aokiji, Mei, and others entered the village with the permit and were escorted to their residence by a Konoha Chunin.

Konoha.
The Hokage Office.
On the Hokage Seat sat a young man with tanned skin and brown spiked hair, with a single line running vertically under the outer corner of each eye.
He was dressed in a red full-length Kimono that was fastened with a white slash.
There were five additional people in the room, four guys and one woman.
They were all dressed in the customary Konoha Jonin gear as they stared towards Sarutobi, going over the contestants' details.
"The exam will be fascinating this time; Mist appears to be serious."
Sarutobi looked at the information of the candidates of the Mist, a bit surprised as he showed it to figures standing before him.
"Root does have some information on them; they are the students of Daikichi"
The one who talked had a cross mark on his chin and an uninterested expression on his handsome face.
"Does Daikichi accompany them, Hiruzen?"
Hearing his comments, everyone was shocked, and the person with a flag-shaped symbol printed on his back and a face even more handsome than Danzo inquired.
"No, it's not Daikichi; it's Asahi from the Yuki Clan, your rival Kagami!" Sarutobi stated.
"Well, it's understandable; after all, he's one of Mist's strongest; he can't afford to waste time here."
This time, the figure who spoke wore spectacles as he pushed them, and the light was reflected in them.
"Torifu, Kagami, Danzo, Homura, and Koharu, I'll leave the exam preparations to you; don't make our guests feel uneasy."
As he stood up and approached the window overlooking the affluent Village below, Sarutobi gave the five standing behind him an order.
"Understood!!"
Tch...
Except for the person with a cross mark on his chin and hatred in his eyes from being ordered around by Sarutobi Hiruzen, everyone nodded.
*That should have been my seat!!!*
Looking at the empty Hokage seat, Danzo yearned to sit in it, but that one second of indecision tortured Danzo and how much he wanted to could go back in time.
*But it's not the end; one day, I'll get what I deserve*
Danzo reflected as he turned around and walked away with the other four.
