"Truth or Dare, ____?" asked Kisame. He was casually spinning a kunai and leaning back in his chair, a nonchalant expression plastered onto his features.
You smirked coolly, completely unfazed by the question.
You were the dare-devil of the Akatsuki. You did what you wanted, when you wanted and no one risked going against you. You were a lone wolf. No one and I mean no one, messed with you.
But the one thing you took pride in the most was your bravery. On missions you took outrageous risks that had a very slim chance of turning out in your favour. But you didn't do it because it meant you could die. You did it because it gave you a chance to live.
To face death and cheat it. That was living.
When it came to risks, Truth or Dare was no different.
You chuckled. "Torture! That should spice things up a bit, eh sushi?"
Kisame gave you a dirty look. "Don't call me that."
You shrugged. "Whatever you say, fish sticks..."
The swordsman glared at you. Just for that, he was gonna make you suffer. "Fine, you want torture, ____?" He slammed a fist on the table. "Then I order you to stay on your own, in the hideout, with Tobi, for the rest of the day!"
You stared at him blankly. Inside you were cringing slightly. There was always something off about that kid, as if he was...hiding something. But no matter. You would do this, emerge victorious as usual and humiliate the shark, as well as everyone else in the room that was currently smirking or giving you a sympathetic look.
"Fine, Jaws. When you guys leaving?" You asked, purposely trying to make it seem as though you weren't bothered, just to annoy Kisame even more.
Kisame twitched slightly in anger. Itachi, who was sitting next to him, gave him the blank, emotionless Uchiha version of the I-am-actually-beginning-to-worry-about-you look.
"THAT'S IT! EVERYONE LEAVE!" Hissed Kisame, pointing to the door, and walking out. Everyone followed him, muttering under their breath until the room was empty. Except for you and Tobi.
The orange-masked ninja was staring at you, bouncing up and down slightly.
"Hi ____-chan!" He chirped.
You blinked and sighed. You weren't about to be beaten, but this guys could be annoying when he wanted to be. Perhaps you could just play chess or something until the others got back. It was kind of sad playing it on your own, but you were pretty sure Tobi had never even heard of chess, let alone be able to actually play it.
"Tobi, look, I'm just going to play chess with myself until this is over, hm?"
You got up and walked out of the room, soon returning with the chess board and pieces.
Tobi watched you with fascination, as you set up the game, carefully placing each piece in the correct position.
"Isn't that a two-player game, ____-chan?" He asked innocently, pointing at the board.
"Yes, but I doubt you will understand how to play..." You muttered.
Of course you should have known better. Never challenge Tobi. He will bug you for the rest of the day. Shame you only realised this after you said it.
The hyper ninja instantly appeared next to the board, opposite you. "Tobi WILL play!" He said defiantly, crossing his arms. Then he got distracted and started playing with the chess piece that looked remarkably like a horse...
You frowned as he pushed it along the table, making weird noises.
Then you smirked. "Alright, Tobi, you can play."
