~Third Person~
The rumbles of the volcano, the spars of the Venji's as they practiced their fighting. Young Belial admired the volcano, as it was soon to do a minor erupt. His mother came beside him, Plasma smiling as she saw her son happy. Belial roared lightly, as he saw his father in the distance.
The King of The Venji's. Crimson, a well feared yet respected creature. He was a pure blood red, fangs, horns, and a fiery mane. The king stood in awe as his son adored him in his glory.
"This will all be yours one day sport." His father said in his deep tone. Belial was very excited, as his coronation would be soon. The volcano rumbled, as the young colt looked up, the volcano making a small eruption. He watched it as it made a glorious sight for all to see.
Screeching, hissing, Crimson directed his attention to the Asylum's River. The river splitting between the Venji's, and a Kelpie. A river full of pure acid, anyone falling into it would be dead in seconds. Crimson galloped towards the edge, the ground shaking as he ran. Across the river, emerged a dark kelpie. His manes full of pure vines, slime and algae all over his body. The kelpie got out of the water, as they stood face to face.
"When we talked, we agreed the disruption of the volcano would remain at a cease." The kelpie said, as he raised a face muscle.
"I can not control the sound of a landmark makes. I do everything I can." Crimson responded. The kelpie scoffed, angry at his remark.
"I am Krypton, King of the Kelpies. I deserve peace for my people." Krypton growled. "Peace is only available when you let it." Crimson hissed.
"Then let's make peace." Krypton smirked as he launched a vine at the leg of Crimson. He cackled as he was dragged to the edge of the river. Crimson roared. He hissed as he shot fire, burning the vine. Krypton growled as he leapt over the river, into Venji territory.
"Fight me you coward." Krypton said coiling his vines around the throat of Crimson. Crimson used his horns, cutting the vines escaping the grasp. Snarling he leapt, stomping Krypton. Belial watched as the two fought. This would end in one of their deaths.
Krypton hissed, as he wasn't losing this. The Kelpie King jumped suddenly, his vines around the horns of Crimsons. Crimson lowered his head, as the vines latched onto his horns, Krypton on the very edge of the riverside, his vines on the horns of his enemy being the only thing keeping him steady.
Belial watched frightened, his mother holding him close. Below Crimson, the earth crumbled. Plasma looked at her mate, then at her only son. She sighed, as she galloped towards the cliff edge, pushing Crimson into the river of acid.
Shocked, he tried to grab onto her, in denial, she unleashed fire upon the two of them. Krypton's vines burning as they fell into the river of acid, yelps and cries of pain. The earth still unsteady, Plasma would need to move fast. She took a deep breath, and jumped over. Crimson, angered by the betrayal, grabbed the mare's tail. Plasma fell in, as Belial had to only witness this.
All of their cries were head, as in minutes they were turned to nothing more but just disintegrated bodies. Belial gasped, he just witnessed his own parents death, his mother sacrificing herself.
The Kelpie soldiers came forward with a young colt. "This is Caspian, and as the new leaders, you both need to speak." A kelpie soldier hissed.
"Let this be the end to whatever my father has done." Belial firmly spoke. Caspian nodded in agreement, as the two departed. Belial sighed, as the royal guards were now at his service.
Belial looked at that river, for the last time, and then flew away.

Years passed, the colt was now a stallion. Gaining the trust of many enemies his father had created, honoring the death and sacrifice of his own mother. Belial began to gain respect by the Venji's.
Belial shook, as he flew around doing the patrol, when he spotted a young Venji mare. Smiling, this was the start of his bloodline.
