The Shadow Resistance

This chapter is in Leah’s Pov. Sorry it has been a while since I have uploaded. I was on spring break in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah and didn’t have my computer. And I have had some major writer’s blocks. I can’t control when I get the writer’s block but one thing that did help me is listening to Twilight Saga - Complete Soundtrack, or any music.

Jordan said “We have a long way to go. So if I were you, I would transform into your wolf form.” I was already getting suspicious when Jordan didn’t transform into his wolf form. Jordan got on the blonde wolf to go to The Shadow Resistance headquarters. While going there Jake and I have a conversation. 

Leah “Is it just me or do you find it a little suspicious that Jordan didn’t transform into his wolf form?”

Jacob “No. You're right even if he’s tired, we get our energy back faster in our wolf  form. Even you know that.”

Leah “Yeah. That is why I find it weird. It’s almost like he is hiding something.”

Jacob “I know but I can’t speak with him. It’s almost like that vampire back at your school.”

Leah “What do you mean?”

Jacob “That Edward guy. He has a mind shield.”

Leah “Probably because he can hear our thoughts.”

Jacob “Werewolves can’t block our thoughts. Only vampires can.”

Leah “So how could he understand when I said, “Who are you and why did you save us?” in my head?

Jacob “Cause you didn’t block your mind.”

Leah “What? How do you do that? Remember I am still pretty new to this werewolf stuff.”

Jacob “I'll teach you later.”

Leah “Ok. So anyways what were you saying before I interrupted you?”

Jacob “I don’t know his intentions cause I can’t hear him.”

Leah “What if he is blocking his mind from you? When he and I were in our wolf forms, I could hear him.”

Jacob “I don’t know. Can you hear him now?”

Leah “Only a little bit.”

Jacob “Then he’s hiding it from everyone except his pet there.”

Just then we were interrupted by Jordan. He said “You know I heard that last part right? One don’t call Garret my pet and two we’re here.” That conversation took a lot longer than I expected. When we got to the cave, there was someone standing at the entries, a human named Zion. When Jordan got off of Garret, Zion asked Jordan “What’s your password?” Jordan said “Come on Zion. You know that I am the second-in-command of the Shadow Resistance.” Zion replied “Fine. But later we will talk about your password.” Jordan replied with a smirk at Zion, “Ok, dad.” Zion finally let us in after 5 minutes. When we entered the base, I was astonished at how it looks on the inside. The saying looks can be deceiving is very true in this case. The Shadow Resistance hq is surprisingly modern and very up to date with all of the technology. And very spacious. That is when a girl ran up to Jordan and gave him a hug. I have to assume either that she is a good friend of his or that she is his girlfriend. Jordan replied with a smile “I know we just met, but this is my girlfriend Rebecca.” Rebecca replied “Hey yall. I have a feeling we will all be good friends.” I whispered “I have a weird feeling about Rebecca.” Rebecca replied “I heard that.” I replied to Rebecca, “Oh so you’re a werewolf?” Rebecca answered “Yes, yes I am. If you still don’t believe me Leah I will trans-” Then Jordan interrupted her saying, “Don’t do that Bec. One, you may hurt yourself since you are still pretty new to being a shape-shifter werewolf. And two, you may damage our main base.” Rebecca replied “Fine I won’t, Jordan.” She backed up and yeah. So that was an awkward moment. Anyways when that awkward moment finished, I said “So Jordan, what were you going to show us?” Jordan answered “I want yall to meet someone.” We started to follow Jordan, when I asked him “Who are we going to meet? The leader of the resistance?” Jordan replied “Actually you are correct Leah” We then stopped at an office that said ‘Ashley Bravura, Leader of The Shadow Resistance’. As soon as she opened the door I was amazed at her beauty. I was staring so deeply in her soul that I didn’t realize that she tapped me on the shoulder. Ashley said “Hello everyone, I am Ashley the leader of the Shadow Resistance, and a werewolf with gifts.” Jake asked Ashley, “One, aren't you then considered a hybrid? And two, how are you so open with us? We literally just met you and you immediately said that you are a vampire.” Ashley replied “Well, yes I am considered a hybrid but I don't think of myself as that. And I know I can trust you guys and I know that Leah’s sister is part of the Volturi. We put a tracking sticker and a little microphone to make sure that we can know what is happening in the Volturi.” Jake replied “Smart.”
