Chp 8 Prt 1- The Volturi Are Coming

Warning: when Aro and Raven talk it gets kinda dark. Sorry this chapter is so short compared to how I usually write. But there will be a part 2 called Custody to this. It adds on to this chapter.

“Speaking of a notification. There is one going off in the main room.” Ashley said. We ran to the main room and saw that Raven was in Italy. We then heard a conversation between Raven and the lead vampire, Aro. 

Raven “I don’t want to spy on my sisters anymore Aro.”

Aro “And why is that? You are the perfect spy.”

Raven “...”

Aro “There’s no better than someone the person knows. 

Raven “I understand that but I don’t want to do this anymore.”

Aro “Now why is that dear?”

Raven “I really want to  see them not as a spy.”

Aro “Are you basically saying that you do not want to be part of the Volturi anymore?”

Raven “Not exactly.”

Aro “Well then you can leave the Volturi, but at a price.”

Raven “What is that price?”

Aro “What you do not know is that your other sister Aurora is a half-breed. And the only reason we kept you alive is to spy on them. Since you do not want to be part of the Volturi anymore there is no reason to keep you alive.”

*Raven runs away.*

*Jane enters*

Jane “Should I go stop her master?”

Aro “No. Let her run. It will be more fun that way.”

I said, “Omg. Raven was forced to join the Volturi to protect Aurora and I. Did not expect that.”  All of a sudden my SISTER COMES IN!!! “WHAT!? YOU ARE APART OF THE RESISTANCE THE WHOLE TIME!? So that explains why you sneak out and our parents are fine with it.” Aurora said, “You heard me sneaking out?” I answered with a smug smile on my face, “Yes, yes I have.” “Oh stop it sis. But in all seriousness the Volturi are coming for Rae, you and I, Leah! That is a very sticky situation.” Another person walked in the room. Jordan said “I want to introduce you to my sister, Isabella Lyan, but she likes to be called Bella or Izzy. She is very shy until she gets to know you. She is also our youngest member to join.” We all waved our hand at Izzy and Jacob said “Hey cutie.” She waved her hand back at us. “Now that we have that covered,” Jordan said, “we need to get prepared for Raven’s arrival and we need to make sure you and your sisters are safe, Aurora. So that is why yall need to stay here in custody.” Aurora and I said “What?!” “Yeah. It is for yall’s safety.” Jordan said. “At least we can teach you and Rebecca about being a werewolf.” Jake said. I replied “True.” Jordan said “I will teach Leah how to block other werewolves' thoughts, while you Jacob should teach Rebecca how to transform safely.” Jake answered “Sounds good to me. Is 90 minutes good for each, then we can switch people?” Jordan said “Yeah that sounds like a good amount of time with each.” I followed Jordan and Rebecca followed Jake. We both separated into two different rooms right across from each other so they could both teach us without disruptions.
