The flag dropped and the only sound that could be heard was tire against concrete. The back of the car skidded side to side before it got a grip and it started flying forward. The red Stradale did the same. We both are neck to neck since all you had to do so far is slam the gas onto the floor. There were little cheers in the background of roaring engines. The small single road was coming up and whoever got through first would get the advantage. The closer the road got the bigger it became, the road was barely too small to fit both of the sides of the car by side. You both were neck and neck but neither of you was letting up. The road was coming in fast so finally, I gave in. Slowing down just a couple of miles gave him the go-ahead to go down the small alley. Just because he was inside the alley first doesn't mean he was gonna keep his lead for long. My car made it to the alleyway and water was flying from tires hitting puddles. The mist was reflecting off the little mist drops reflecting off the street lamp that is illuminating the alleyway. The Mainstreet was right in front of Techno's car, and the second he hit the black pavement a loud sound of skid and smell of burning rubber was present. My left foot went to the brake while my free hand went to the handbrake. Everything happened in a second, this is where skills come into play. Pulling the hand brakes the screeching was back, the car was in the same direction as the traffic was going. If there was traffic. The only car that was in view was a car in my rearview mirror; it was just a white minivan. The repeatable honked at me, it was getting annoying but understandable. It didn't matter since I was there for a mere second. Anyways they could've been honking at Techno.
The streets were littered with cars just trying to go on with their day, but they were there for only a second. Although one car stayed the same. Both of us became neck and neck going down the straight road. The road was going to completely end and the only ways you could go is left and right, well that's what Tommy's map said. When the end of the road did come, there was a traffic light at the end of the road with the only choices being left or right. I guess he was right. My foot slowly let off the gas to let there be enough time to turn and not run into the buildings that were surrounding the roads. Techno also started to slow down but at a slower pace than me. The light was red but no cars were going by. We both pull our hand brakes and the cars start to slowly turn sideways. The second we were both able to turn completely, the skids could be heard from miles away.
This gave me a big advantage since I was on the inner part of the turn and Techno was on the outer so that made me turn a lot faster than him. My foot slammed on the gas to start going forward, seconds later the car behind me started to follow.
Hamilton Road was full of twists and turns, and we kept neck and neck for a while. Until there was a truck coming at me and I had to slow down and get on the right lane behind Techno so that I wouldn't get crushed. Before we got onto the bridge we had to go under the bridge. When we both did make it under there was street art all over, most of it was penises. But a few drawings of flowers stood out, there were beautiful flowers littered all over. Next to most of them had signatures, Sadist they read.
I need to stay focused. The exit was coming up to get onto Lincoln Bridge which just so happens to have Lincoln Bridge Road. Ironic isn't it? The exit was two lanes wide so when we started going up there was no problem driving up. When we merged onto the bridge the lanes opened up into 4 and there were cars lightly scattered across the street heading back into the center of the town.
Our cars were no long lanes next to each other. We were both weaving back and forth between lanes. My grip on the wheel loosened and my heart slowed back down while we drove down the bridge. The bridge was for sure the longest road that there was and we were going to be on there for a couple of minutes since we have to go halfway across a giant town. The camera on my dash was just sitting there recording me so it made me a little nervous since they saw my every move, but remember kids' comedy makes the pain go away. "Are you a quirked-up white boy with a little bit of swag busting it down sexual style," you could hear me trying to suppress the laugh while saying that, it was just so random? "And is he goated with the sauce?" Everything was fun and games until I saw a little drone following my car, what the hell? Wait, that's Tubbo nevermind no need to be worried. It's still so cool how he made a drone so fast that it could keep up with race cars.
