Topic: What makes up the Armor of God?

Ephesians 6: 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

So stand ready, with TRUTH as a belt tight around your waist, with RIGHTEOUSNESS as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the good news of PEACE. At all times carry FAITH as your shield, for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept SALVATION as a helmet, and THE WORD OF GOD, as the sword which the spirit gives you.

The Armor of God

The Armor of God is basically made up with seven components. It is of spiritual substance and therefore useful for Christian to save guard themselves from dark forces.

There are seven (7) component in the Armor of God:

The Belt of Truth
In the Roman army, a solider's belt holds up the rest of the armor without it, nothing stands. Beth once said "The belt of truth reminds her that she need to be open to being corrected by the Word of God." In proverbs 3:3-4 it says, "Let no mercy and Truth forsake thee: bind them around thy neck; write them upon the table of thy heart. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man."

The Breastplate of Righteousness
The Christian in completed Armor, volume 2, "The breastplate symbolized the protection the christian believer needed." The breastplate of righteousness protects our heart by living righteously in this present time. Satan often attacks the heart the seat of our emotions, self-worth, and trust. It depended the vital parts of the body the integrity of life and righteousness of character is necessary to defend us from the assaults of Satan, said an internet site.

Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
God's Church is sent to announce the good news of God's kingdom which will spread His way of peace around the world, another internet site. Jentenzen Franklin said, "In the christian life we need solid footing... If we do not learn to depend on God for the promise of peace, then we will not have the sure footing to be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil."
