Chapter 6

The next morning when Aurora woke up from her slumber and went downstairs to have her breakfast what she saw surprised her. She saw her big brother Xander Donato, who rarely appeared because he was always busy with work, sitting on the sofa and reading newspaper. He looked so serious, noble and indifferent.

Aurora happily ran over and hugged him from behind as she acted like a spoiled child. After five years without seeing him, he still felt as familiar as ever.

"Big brother, you're finally back. Where did you go after sending me home?"

Xander helplessly allowed her to hug him and rock him back and forth while smiling dotingly. In that time his cold aura had already gone.

"Hey bug....., I had a very importnt meeting to attend. I rushed back as soon as it was over. Here, your gift."

This was his habit. No matter how far he went on a business trip, he would always bring back souvenirs. This time it was a limited edition custome-made handbag which was unique to Aurora only. He knew in advance that Mia was also here so he bought her a limited edition chanel perfume.

Mia took it over with a blush on her face and said softly" Thank you."

However Xander didn't notice it as his eyes were fix upon his sister who had a rough time and felt heartbroken.

On the other had Aurora keenly observed Mia's reaction. Her smiled widened and she was already fantasized about their future.

"Your second brother is in laboratory abroad working on some confidential scientific research, so he can't come at the moment. Your third brother is at afilm festival and will be back in a few days. For the next couple of days you can follow me to the company......"

After hearing that she has to go to the company she started to make faces.But she knew that she has to be stronger.

Time passed by quickly as Aurora started to follow Xander in the company to know ropes and a month was over.

A month later there was meeting of businessmen of entire world who can participate. Those who attended the Italy's business banquet were the elites of business world. Almost all the upper class was present.

The banquet was not open to the public. Bodyguards were also stationed few blocks away so the paparazzi won't sneak a picture.

A luxurious mercedes benz sports car slowly stopped at the entrance and came out Ace Rivera looking incomparably noble & as his female companion came out the one and only Victoria.

When Victoria leraned of Ace's divorce, she was very excited. ' My opportunity had come.' But in this month Ace never came to see her aven if she was really sick. She was able to be his companion because her uncle has extended the invitation to her.

"Welcome Mr. Rivera....." the organizer went over to shake his hands when he heard the commotion at the door.

Someone said," Xander Donato is here......"

A custom Rolls-Royce came to the enterance. When Xander came out of the car, his aura was extraordinary and he had a natural high-born bearing. As soon as he came out many peopole were waiting to shake his hand and exchange pleasantries.

However, he didn't leave immediately after getting out of the car. Instead he walked to the other side of the car and took the place of porter and opened the door. He then extended his hand modestly to the person inside.

Everyone was shocked to see that, and thought 'who did Xander, who had never been close to women, bring with him tonight?'
