The Divorced Heiress

Chapter 8

Victoria's face was gloomy as she walked over to Aurora step by step.

"Aurora".....

Aurora already knew someone was approaching her. She knew except Victoria no one will come to find  her.

She casually glanced to the side and saw Victoria's gentle and soft face that looks so pitiable.

Victoria walked upto her with cold smirk on her face without any disguise of her white lotus flower.

" Did you come to the banquet on to get close to the Ace, didn't you? You are already divorced but why are you still clinging onto him? If I were you, I'd hide far away . Don't come looking for trouble."

Aurora looked at her with sharp and mocking gaze.

"Victoria...., whole world knows that you are the mistress in our relationship.... Did you have a good time recently?"

"Aurora... a title isn't as important as our feelings for each other. Ace and I will be together one day, unlike you." Victoria snorted in jealousy and gave Aurora once - over.

"Did you sell your blood to get the money for invitation of this banquet? How else could you come to such a place? The clothes and jewellery that you are wearing are also rented, right?"

Victoria stepped forward. Her gaze shifted to the swimming pool as she walked towards it with a cold stare.

"Aurora, you are asking for it......."

As she said that, she suddenly leaned backward and fell into the pool. The splash attracted everyone's attention from the banquet.

The crowd eclaimed.

Aurora looked at this scene with an indifferent and dark gaze. She suddenly thought about the banquet five years ago back when she had just gotten married to Ace. This exact situation happened as well.

"Aurora, I won't congratulate you on your marriage because Ace doesn't love you. If weren't for the fact that you can donate blood to me at any time, Ace wouldn't have agreed to marry you. You'll never be happy together. If you don't believe me, just watch......."

Victoria leaped into the pool back then and Ace jumped in without any second thought.

She proved to her that Ace cared about her. Back then Aurora thought that her sincerty would one day move Ace, but she failed miserably.

A man rushed by. Without having look, Aurora knew it must be Ace. He anxiously brought Victoria out of the pool.

"Ace, don't blame her. I came to apologise to her but she didn't forgive me. She must hate me, but I'm sure  she didn't mean to do this..."

She looked so aggrieved as she shrank into the man's arms and suppressed her sobs. Everyone was looking at her with pity and at Aurora dubiously.

When Xander heard about the commotion he came looking for Aurora but she stopped him and said something in his ear. After that, Xander left

Ace held drenched Victoria and draped his coat over her shoulder. As he glared at Aurora, She met her gaze without avoidance and the corners of her lips curled up mockingly.

"She used the same trick five years ago, did you fall for it again?...It doesn' t matter. Her acting skills are so subpar without any improvement after all these years. I'll turn a blind eye to your act..."

"Why must I accept this? Why do I have to play along with her? It'll just lower my IQ."

After saying this as she was about to leave, Victoria suddenly got up from Ace embrace and tugged on Aurora's hand. She refused to let go of this wonderful opportunity to clear her name and humilate Aurora.

"Aurora, I know that you don't like me, but every time you donated blood, Ace paid you for it. What else are you dissatified with? Why are you still pestering him after the divorce and slander us? You did everything possible to come to this party because you refuse to let go of him?"

' Some people won't cry until they see their coffin.....' thought Aurora.
