Chapter 7

I'm so sorry guys for updating after so long. I was busy with studies as in India it was exam time then I went for vacation, later the dreaded day was nearing (You know the RESULT DAY) and by mistake I cleared my exams ; ) Last but not the least again getting admission..........so you guys know the procedure from Exams to getting the Admission.

"Aurora" Someone shouted her name.

The women was wearing custome made gown from a royal family. The dress was studded with diamonds and sparkling in light whenever she moved. The dress hugged her slender figure and all the curves flawlessly. Her makeup was meticulous and highlighted her features beutifully perfect.

It made her look even more beautiful. Ace narrowed his eyes as he watched the woman take Xander Donato's hand and walked inside with bright smile. She was getting closer to Ace she took each step.

Aurora was mentally prepared to see Ace again as every guest present in the banquet hall is top of their field. Her heart didn't fluctuate as she already let him go. Although Ace was married no one knew about her because he never took her to these high end parties.

When she saw Victoria beside Ace she loughed lightly and thought 'She took my place so soon.'

Xander sensed her emotions and rubbed her hand. "Don't be afraid, I'm with you." Aurora's smile deepened " I'm not the one who should be afraid." 'I don't have any worries anymore. What should I be afraid of? I'm invncible.'

Xander walked up to Ace shook his hands. "I've heard a lot about you."

"Mr. Donato. So have I."

They parted ways after that but Ace's eyes were fixed on the woman next to Xander .  She stood beside Xander and smiled brightly. Her eyes were glistening and clear. her dress made her fair skin look fawless. She looked completely different from before. 

The radiant Aurora lookedunfamiliarand dangerous with fatal attraction. At that moment, the emotions in Ace heart was so complecated that he didn't know what he was feeling. Anger started to rise in his eyes. Victoria saw the changes in Ace the moment she came out of her shock.

She gritted her teeth and said "Aurora what are you doing here? Do you think this is a place where anyone can come as they please." She was just trying to remind her of her lowly status. Before Ace could stop her he heard Xander say "And which family are you from miss?" his tone was interrogative.

At this Victoria froze as she forgot that she was with Ace and tried to remedy the situation " Sir the woman by your side is not what you think she is. She has already divorved and her ex-husband is none other than Ace Rivera and...."

She thought she needs to reveal the truth about Aurora's divorce. ' How could she find better man than me."

Xander indifferently asks "Is there any rule that divorced people can't attend the banquet? Isn't Mr. Rivera here? And he even brought you here with him. I really have to say the standard of this banquet is going down with people like you. Mr. Rivera you have to improve your standard while selecting female companion."

 Victoria looked at Ace for help but he stood there without intending to help her allivate the awkwardness. Aurora lowered her head slightly and scoffed " Ms. Jameson, do I need to report it to you who am I with? Don't you think you're overstepping your boundries." Since she wants to stir up trouble then there is no need for her to back down from tit for tat.

Xander and Aurora went away after that without waiting for reply and looking back. When Ace saw their departing back he was not in the mood to think about anything. 

'We haven't been divorced for long and she is already living in style and pretending not to see me? She even ran to the arms of different man?'

A few business men came over to greet Ace, so Ace ditched Victoria and started to mingle by himself.

Aurora was standing in front of swimming pool which was right outside the floor-to-ceiling. This corner was secluded and unoccupied. She had a glass of red wine in her hand and seemed to be thinking something.

In that exact coorner in the dark someon was standing with hateful eyes glaring at Aurora.
