Back in Third Person POV:

Everyone gets in the car, May makes sure everyone's in the car and that they aren't missing anything. She notices that someone wasn't here. As she realizes who was missing she snapped, "Mom where's Dad? I thought he was coming?", "Oh honey, did you you forget again? He's not going to be driving the car we're in, he's going to be driving the car with all our stuff." May sighs in relief,  just not loud enough for her mom to hear, "Yeah I probably forgot, thanks for letting me know mom," as a smile slowly forms on May's face.

May's POV:
I was so happy. I am so fucking glad Dad isn't going to drive, I didn't wanna deal with his alcoholic ass anyway, let's just hope he don't crash with our furniture in it.

But it would be good if he was gone from our lives, because he for sure made life worse. I got to admit it, we all had a deep hatred for Dad, we just didn't want to make that obvious or show it. If we did, all hell would break loose. Everyone at least hated SOMETHING about Dad, whether it was his looks, personality, or just him in general.

We knew it was best for Mom not to be with Dad anymore, yet even though she knew it was the best for everyone. she couldn't. At least not yet.

She had enough money to support herself, but just herself. She wasn't earning enough money to support the rest of us.

So me and my little brothers are guessing that when she earns enough money to support all of us, she would leave dad. I'll ask her later to confirm my suspicions. Although, there were times we would talk shit about him. So that also makes me believe that she wants to leave him.

It's only been a few hours since we've left home, we aren't even near LA. I'm in the passenger seat right next to my mom, who's driving. Let's just hope LA is better especially since it's popular. Maybe I won't have to stay home a lot with my lil brothers.

I can't wait to go to our new home.
