Caera POV:

Waking up in a cold sweat from the nightmare I was having, I hurriedly sat up and reached for the glass of warm water that I left on my night stand the night prior. It felt weird honestly, ever since I've awakened my Vritra Blood a year and a half ago I've always had the same vision or at least vague scene repeat in my mind every now and then.

I looked to be in my early twenties, and in front of me stood an enraged man filled with pain who also looked around his twenties. I could never get a clear picture of him, all I seen was his bright golden eyes and wheat colored hair. Immediately after seeing it a flash of purple lighting forms around his figure, causing him to blur and presumably pierce my heart.

I've never met that man in my life to my knowledge, yet why did I feel so bad for him or at least have pity on him. He appeared so sorrowful even in his enraged state.

No longer tired after waking up from that same dream, I looked out my window to see a clear blue sky. Today's the day me and Elijah leave for Dicathen.

I was already told by master that unlike Elijah, I'll be keeping my memories of living here in Alacrya due to her intervention. So I'll need to play it off and also not get myself caught or attention on me while I'm there.

After changing my nightgown into black pants and a long sleeved white shirt, I heard a knock at the door. Hurriedly I grabbed my relic my master gave me that hid my horns and put it around my neck. This allowed so nobody would be able to see them, and won't have to be experimented on or become a solider by the high sovereign.

Opening my door it was none other than Master.

"Good morning Master!" I yelled with a smile on my face followed with a bow.

"Good morning Caera, I hope you're ready to go." She softly spoke

Confused, I looked up to her into her eyes. We're not meant to leave for a few more hours or so, at least that's what she told me a couple of days ago.

"Do you mean right now?" I asked jokingly not expecting a response.

"Yes, I've made adjustments to who you'll be sent to. At first we only had one Royal Family to cooperate with Agrona, but now he's managed to get his hands on the King of Sapin. He rules over the Human Kingdom which would be a better place and easier for you to fit in than you being in Darv." She replied.

"I see... so is my objective the same? or is it also different?" I asked

"No it hasn't changed, you'll be under the King and known as an Adopted Daughter to the people around. He's been told that after a year from your revival you'll become an adventurer. That will be the same time Elijah is planned to become one, so you'll still be working with him. Just not as close as previously."

Usually when someone speaks to me, I can tell when they're telling me everything. Especially master, including now I can tell she's holding back the real reason Agrona plans to send Alacryans to live amongst the Dicathians However, I know it's best not to pry, because everything she's ever done for me was for my benefit, even if it's out of her way.

"I understand. I'll grab my stuff." I said while turning around from my master to prepare.

Walking down the main hallway next to my master, I couldn't help but feel a little excited to see the other continent. Not many would be so lucky, so I'll definitely enjoy my time there.

"We're here Caera" Master spoke up in her dignified tone.

I straightened myself up to present myself to Agrona, it would be my first time meeting him, due to Master's interference. Walking into the underground cavern I spotted a decent looking man with menacing horns protruding from his head.
