"I swear to god, y/c/c, don't drop me!" I uttered while I clung tightly to
y/c/n's arms in hopes it would make any difference.
At the same time I knew exactly what was waiting for me though.

"Oh but where would be the fun then, y/n?" as soon as these words left their mouth I felt myself breaking the surface of the water in only a matter of seconds. It was refreshingly cool and if I wouldn't have been a little upset by y/c/c's behavior I would have enjoyed how the cold made me feel like.

While I was still sinking a little bit,
y/c/c was standing on the little boat we took to spend a nice evening together on the sea and smirked.

Y/c/c's pov

As I let y/n slip out of my hands I couldn't help but laugh a bit. Y/n had no idea how much I enjoyed their company and I don't know if they will ever truly understand. The way they made me feel was beyond words and I was incredibly thankful for that.

Only being near them was something I could never think off missing in my life and I would do anything to keep them. I just hope they felt the same way about me.

As I was standing there, I watched
y/n fall into the water after calling something that made my smirk grow even wider. I knew they would get me for that in the future but it would have been worth it in the end.

I could make out their figure sinking slowly deeper and deeper until I wasn't able to see them anymore. I tried to remain calm, thinking y/n was just messing with me but at some point I couldn't help but start to panic.

As I thought of what might have happened that caused them not coming back to the surface, I already jumped in the water, hoping I would find them soon.

The moment I saw y/n, I pulled them close and swam back to the surface, not intending to let go. When we got back to the surface, I looked at them worriedly, too afraid they were unconscious, but just as I was about to put my thinking into action, their laughter sounded and they beamed at me.

"I can't believe you fell for that" was the only thing they said before bursting out laughing. "You should have seen your face. A sight for the gods!" I just looked y/n, processing what had just happened until a small smile spread on my face too.

"That's not funny, y/n" was what I said, trying to hide my smile from them but failed miserably. "Yeah, right right..but why are you laughing then?"

Instead of answering y/n, I just kept on looking at them, being simply greatful they were alright and unharmed. I didn't even want to think about what I would do if that was not the case, they meant too much to me.

Appearantly y/n noticed the state I was in and slowly pulled me into a hug, which was tighter than normal and all the nicer. "You're not going to lose me, I'm still not finished torturing you" they laughed and looked me straight in the eyes.

On their face was a big smile, the smile I loved more than anything in the world. In my eyes they were the epitome of perfection and no one could ever change that.

God, y/n will never know how much I love them...

Your pov

This was everything I could ask for in life. It was just perfect. Being here in y/c/c's arms, embraced by the cool water of the ocean, while watching the sun set and simply enjoying the moment.

The look on y/c/c's face was the epitome of loving. Their smile had my knees weak and I would litterally die for them. There was nothing I wouldn't do for being able to spend time with them or just knowing they were safe and sound.

God, y/c/c will never know how much I love them...
