Amber? Like what the hell. My name is Aubrey! Everyone likes to call me that because of my little brother Kevin. I'm going to sue him one day.
"Kevin!" I yelled loud enough for the whole country to hear.
"What?" He yelled back.
"Why'd you call me Amber?"
"The name was easy to say."
"Of course it was, you ass."
"Be nice." Dad said barging into my room.
"Thanks for knocking." I smiled.
He smirked and left the room. Dad, always so happy and full of life. He's like the only soul that's made my existence a purpose.
"You have school." Kevin yelled.
"Alright, I'm coming."
I quickly changed into a comfortable hoodie, black tights and sneakers.
"Kevin, tell mom I left." I told him.
"Okay." He replied, taking a bite of his French toast.

"Hey gorgeous." Eric surprised me by kissing my lips.
"Hey handsome." I pulled on his collar to bring him to my height, you can't blame me. He was too tall for his own good.
"What's with the love?" I whispered in his ear.
"Just do it." He smiled staring in my eyes.
Emma came walking hand in hand with her boy friend Daniel.
"Hi." I greeted, smiling.
"Ahem." Emma coughed.
"Yes?" I smiled innocently.
"Got a minute Aubrey?" Emma smiled politely with a look of confusion.
"No," Eric said before I could answer. "We have somewhere to be."
"Oh yeah, see you later." I played along.
When we got further away from Emma and Daniel I asked Eric why he'd put up the act.
"You see, she'd ask you about me and say okay but we can't let that happen JUST now." He said.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because, we need to show her we're very important in each other's life."
"How do we do that?"
"Has anyone told you how I don't let anyone touch my car?"
"No."
"Well," he licked his lips. "I don't let anyone touch my car."
"And how's that supposed to help?"
"Lay down on my car."
"Seriously? Don't kill me when you're drunk."
"I won't."
"Okay, and have you let Emma touch your car?"
"Was about too, if i had fallen hard."
"I'm sorry."
"don't pity me."
"I don't, I just wanted to..."
"Don't, come on." He said directing me towards his car.
"What now?" I asked.
"I'll take it in front of the school, you lay down on it and I'll take pictures."
