After I contemplate the now empty driveway for a few seconds, I let myself inside the house and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I go straight to the kitchen to put some ice in my eye but take a few steps back when I notice that the lights are on.
I hide behind the wall and watch Mike drink milk straight from the carton.
Ugh, guys are gross.
But the real problem here is that I can't walk in, otherwise Mike will see the bruise in my eye and won't leave me alone until I tell him what happened. Seeing as I don't have any other choice, I climb up the stairs quietly and go to my bedroom where I finally feel safe.
I text Paige, as promised, letting her know that I'm fine and finally at home.
I don't have the energy to put on my pajamas, so I just take my jeans off and leave my shirt on. I lay on my side, resting my head on one pillow and hugging the other.
I can't believe how tired I feel.
There are thousands of things going through my mind right now, such as what am I going to do tomorrow to cover the black eye I will surely get or
how am I going to avoid the asshole who is the cause of all of my problems, but I really don't want to think about them right now.
I just want to sleep and let things be.
Ian's POV
As soon as I get home, I go straight to my bedroom and tear the door open. I feel free to slam it close forcefully because my parents are out tonight otherwise I would've had to close it quietly and I'm not in the mood.
I sit in the comfortable black couch and lay my head back, taking a deep breath.
I didn't mean to hurt her. I really didn't.
Why can't she just understand that?
I know that I shouldn't have left her alone but I already apologized, there's nothing more I can do.
I need to stop thinking about her, I need a distraction or I will go crazy.
I grab my phone from the bedside table and scroll through my contacts. There are plenty of girls who would die to be with me right now.
I contemplate calling Melody but the first three letters of her name are enough to remind me of the person I want to forget.
My eyes land on Samantha Johnson's contact profile. Long dark hair, dark brown eyes, decent tits. If I want to forget, it is definitely her who I should call.
I don't do the old fashion thing of sending a three words text, which is the way most guys rather do it. If I want to bang a girl I call her.
I hear it ring two times before Samantha picks up. "Hello," her seductive voice greets.
I will be remembering this night for the right reason.
------------
I wake up to the sound of the doorbell. I open my eyes slowly and check the clock.
Who the hell is waking me up at 8:00 A.M? I hear it ring again and force myself out of bed. That's when I notice the black dress and red heels thrown in the couch.
Samantha is laying on my bed where we spent the night together. I don't spend the night with anyone, when the party is over I say "adiós" and walk them out of the door. But it was late and didn't want a girl driving alone at that hour.
"Hey, Samantha you have to go," I whisper in her ear, shaking her slightly. I walk to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.
"Good morning," she says, smiling widely.
