The Picture of the side is of Melissa ---------->
I opened my heavy eyelids and rubbed my eyes, when I looked aside to my night stand, I surprised by the fact that I hadn't set my alarm clock on and when I checked the time I jumped out of bed realizing I was late for school.
I took a very quick shower, put a little bit of makeup on (mascara, blush and shiny but non-color lip gloss) and then I slipped a white sweater on, which says "PARIS <3" on it. Put a full flowered pair of leggings and grabbed my phone and backpack.
I didn't have breakfast, I was really late. I practically 'fly' to school.

The bell rang once again, but this time it was finally break. I was walking to meet Paige and Emma at the cafeteria when Ian came in once again.
I felt nervous and I certainly didn't know how to react. But I had to be self confident and ignore my "fears" in order to get some respect from this boy.
"Can you get out of my way, please?" I walked from side to side, but he was blocking every single exit I had.
"You made me follow you on Friday" Ian said with a cheecky smile.
"No, I didn't. I didn't ask you to follow me" My voice was cold and distant, same as my gaze that was now fixated on the floor.
"Why did you run away then?" He raised an eyebrow and wet his lips and I stared at him right into the eyes.
I was ready to be honest and firm: "I 'ran away' (I emphasized with quotation marks) because I didn't want that kiss to happen. I know people like you Ian, boys like you and I really don't wanna get into that mess so..."
I pushed him aside with my shoulder and walked straight forward.
"Why did it took you so long Mel?" I heard a voice far, far away. "Hello! Earth calling Melissa" Emma and Paige were trying to reach me while I was lost in my little world.
"Uh?!!" I removed my face from my palm and dropped my arm on the table. "I'm sorry, did you guys said something?" Maybe I shouldn't have been that rude with Ian before, I was feeling guilty.
Oh, damn guilt! He deserved it.
"Nevermind" Paige shook her head and stared at Emma.
"So, I heard you went to that party at Sean's on Friday" Emma said. She must have heard from all the gossips all over the school, which I hadn't pay attention to.
"Yes, no big deal" I rolled my eyes and mentally slammed myself for my own lie.
Emma gave me a puzzled look and seconds later her phone beeped. "Sorry guys, I gotta take this call". She went away to a nearby corner. It was probabably from an University or something like that.
Emma has been working so hard in getting into a good University and she doesn't even have to. All the Universities should be calling her instead. She has always been the first one in class, I was the third.
Yeah, we were classified by teachers, which I think is stupid because even though it feels so good to be classified as the third best student in class, like me, or the first, like Emma, everybody should feel like the best.
"So, I'm still confused. Did Sean took you to your house or stayed with you at his?" I joked.
"JA JA, so funny. I think I should ask you that. Sean took me home, MY HOME because he saw you and Ian at the garden" She emphasized on the words "MY HOME" and pointed at herself.
The only thing I did was turn my gaze down and Paige was waiting for a response, but she needed to emphasize her question better.
"So, what happened between you and Ian?" She asked with wide opened eyes.
"We kissed" I said, Paige was my best friend and I would always tell her everything honestly.
"You kissed?! I thought you were busy running away" She stuffed some chips into her mouth.
"I know and it should've stayed that way" I placed my arms on the table and rested my head on top of them.
"So you regret it?" She angled her face down to face me and asked with a puzzled look.
Do I?
After some seconds of silence I squeezed my eyes shut and said "Actually, yes"
_____________
"Let me prove you that I can be more than what you think I am". He just wouldn't leave me alone. I was at the parking lot, putting some things inside my car when he positioned himself in front of me.
"And how exactly are you supposed to do that?" I closed my car door and turned to face him.
"Well, I need your permission first". His lips turned into a thin line, his eyes full of hope, willing for me to say something.
"And once you have it?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Well then we can be friends" He smiled. His smile and eyes were seriously my weakness.
"Friends? Are you sure you can handle that?" I let out a humorless chuckle.
"Sure I can" He wet his lips. His tone was firm and sure, but his eyes were doubtful.
"I highly doubt it, but okay" I wasn't sure of what I was doing, but I accepted in order for him to leave me alone. "As long as you do not have any other intentions" I pointed my index finger at him.
"Great!". He smile and lowered my finger "So I'll call you later".
"I guess" I said in return as he walked away.
"But, wait! You don't have my number" I turned around and shouted.
"Who said I don't?" He winked and started walking away again.
I couldn't help but smile, as I opened my car door again to go home.
Hellooo!! So I hope you enjoyed the chapter! Ian and Melissa will start getting closer soon as they're now "friends", but nobody'sbuying that, right?
Any doubts? Post a comment or send a message and I'll be happy to clear them!
