| Most of my readers should know that I'm a huge fan of Korean series. So I thought about ranking my Top 10 Kdrama. I got the idea from my dear friend MoonChildami . I hope I didn't forget one, but it shouldn't be too important then, right? Alright, let's go. |
10. Vagabond
Rating : 8.5
What I like :
It's really thrilling and emotional since the first episode. I can't remember the whole story in detail, because I watched it over a year ago since it was one of my first Kdrama. Still I definitely know that I loved the drama. I liked the interaction between the main characters and the development of the characters. Also the first episode really catches your attention and even I had struggle to not cry. Anyways the setting and the whole filming is very professional and very clear and good. However, I'm in love with the cast, especially the male main character because I really get what he was feeling.
What I disliked :
It's simply the end. Spoiler warning it's kind of an open end. The series seemed to have kinda a good ending but then everything turned and struggle began. I don't want to spoil too much, just that I'm not a fan of the ending especially after watching Final Life, but that's another drama to talk about.9. Boys Over Flowers
Rating : 8.5
What I liked :
It's a mile stone drama for the Kdrama scene. It's really iconic and I laughed a lot during the drama. If you're looking for something kind of cringey and funny this drama is very good. I don't know why but sometimes I just really need those kind of series to give myself a break of the daily-life. Anyways the story wasn't too original but don't expect the drama to be boring, it definitely isn't even though it has 20 episodes. It has a lot, A LOT, plot twists and changing events so it won't become boring, I promise.
What I disliked :
I liked some of the characters but some are huge trash, literally. Especially Jun Pyo who was the male lead, I just can't stand him. He isn't as mean as he seems at first but he is some kind of self-centered guy. I didn't like 2/4 of the male roles to be honest, but it isn't just a bad thing, just need to take it with a grain of salt. Anyways the kdrama definitely is filled with stereotypes. It's not a bad thing, because it's funny, but it somehow just consisted of stereotypes. Beginning with the poor female lead and rich male lead to two rich guys fighting over a poor girl to pressuring parents to love-to-hate relationship to several plot twists etc etc. Don't mind my dislike text being longer than the like text, I still love it though, because it was funny as hell and iconic.
