Part 55: A Day Out

"You should smile more often. It really suits you...."

Jimin looked away as embarrassment dusted on his face. He wasn't really used to Taehyung and Jungkook being nice to him. Now did he ever expect them to be. He just swiped off his expressions and put on his usual poker face.

He started walking away and not to mention, both the others followed along without any word.

"Won't you nag us for following you?", Jungkook asked a little bravely. Jimin let out snarl bitterly.

"When have you ever listened? Not even in 7 centuries...", He said not stopping.

"Maybe we will right now...", Taehyung grabbed Jimin's hand and Jimin turned to look at him a little surprised.

"We want to help you. Please come with us...", Jungkook said and Jimin's eyes widened in horror.

"NO!! No... I won't come a-anywhere with yo-u.... You can't fool me!!", He screamed and everyone around them looked at the trio with furrowed brows. They were in a museum after all. A supervisor turned towards them but Taehyung butted in and softly ushered Jimin out along with Jungkook.

"Listen Jimin-"

"No I won't...", Jimin shook his head furiously as if he remembered something. Taehyung held his shoulders tightly to root him.

"Jimin!! We're not them....", He said looking into Jimin's eyes. It took few minutes for Jimin to focus but when he did he looked straight into Taehyung's eyes.

"We're not them...", He mumbled once again and Jimin saw nothing but sincerity in his eyes. Jungkook's face held the same expressions.

And Jimin fell into dilemma once again for the nth time.

If something would've been the hardest part in his whole 700 years of life, this would be it. Everytime he would try to see both of them in a different light, maybe find at least one point where he won't hate them because they would act so kind. And then at the next moment they will be all that Jimin wished he never had to meet.

They were good actors, he decided.

"Let's go from here.", Taehyung slightly tugged Jimin's arm.

"No I'm not-"

"Jimin please....", He sighed looking at them and finally let them guide him out. And that brought a bright smile on both of their faces.

"Since we still have an hour left, why not we go to ice-cream parlour? I know a good place just around the corner here.", Jungkook announced and Taehyung nodded enthusiastically. Jimin just followed.

"What flavour would you like Jimin?", Jungkook asked eyeing Jimin who looked confused looking at the the LED board that displayed various different and beautiful looking ice-cre xams.

"Um... I'm not sure. I don't know about them...", Jimin mumbled sadly. Actually everything was looking delicious. He wanted everything. But he would rather die than say it out loud.

"Okay then let me choose for you. Hmm... Let's get you mint chocolate. It's awesome.", Jungkook chimed. And at that Taehyung made grimaced face. Jimin not knowing anything just watched curiously.

"No mint chocolate please. Do you want poor boy to traumatize on his very first experience of ice-cream? He needs delicacy and not horror...", Taehyung crossed his hands like some professional giving advices, adjusting his non-existing glasses.

"Excuse me... The disrespect!! Mint chocolate does taste awesome. Just because you have alien choices doesn't mean everyone will hate it. Every normal person likes mint chocolate!!", Jungkook placed his statement firmly. It looked pretty serious and kind of funny to Jimin that they were fighting over a flavour. He just decided to watch.
