Finding you

I laid on my bed scrolling through my phone. I went on Instagram and posted and old photo of Ashley and I. The caption read "I'll miss you bb😈😔".

After about 10 minutes Ashley was already calling my phone.

"Hello?"
"Where the hell are you Soph?"
"Nebraska"
"why are you over there?" she asked a bit concerned
"Im um living here now Ash" I stuttered
"Wait what?"
"I was going to say bye ash but it was unexpected"
"It's okay but the real question is why did you leave?"
"My dad kicked me out" I sighed
"What did you do?" she laughed
"That night I came back late. That's it and he said I needed to be out by today so" I chuckled along with her
"I'm going to miss you, why did you leave me" she whined through the phone leaving me to giggle.

There was a knock at the door causing me to look up and see Jack standing in the doorway.

"Dinners ready" he reassured me before heading back downstairs. That means his friends must be here already.

"Ash I got to go, call u later bye" I spoke really quickly and hung up the phone. I left it on my bed and walked down stairs. Jack was on the couch along with 2 other guys. I smiled as Jack who signaled me over.

"Sophia this is my friend Jack G and Sammy, guys this is my stepsister Sophia" Jack introduced me to each of them while I shook their hand.
"You can just call me Gilinsky" the other Jack winked making me blush.

"It's nice to meet you guys" I smiled before looking back at the kitchen.
"Come grab a seat kiddos" my mom yelled placing plates around the table.

"Uh do we have like special places?" I asked Jack as he shook his head.
"We're not that cool" he joked around flashing me a cheeky smile.

I sat beside Gilinsky and in front of my Mom. I have been starving all day so I right away started eating. It was way better eating my moms cooking than take out daily.

"Is is right?" my mom questioned as I nodded wiping the corners of my mouth.
"So where did you live before?" Gilinsky asked breaking the silence we had.
"Illinois with with dad" I smiled as he nodded slowly
"you'll love it here just saying" Sammy laughed.

I don't know how crazy I'm going to sound but Sammy was actually pretty cute. The way his dimples popped out every time he smiled or laughed. I would catch his sneaking a glimpse every now and then and blush.

After dinner I helped my mom clean up the table and wipe it down. I was going to help wash dishes but my mom suggested I went and talked with the guys.

I opened the back sliding door to see the guys all sitting and chatting. Gilinsky smiles and nods his head signaling me to take a seat. I didn't know how to involve myself in the conversation is all they talked about was guys things.

I reached my hand into my pocket to grab my phone but I forgot I left it upstairs. I excuse my self from the group and went back inside. I ran upstairs closing my bedroom door behind me and jumping onto my bed.

I stayed on my bed spending the time on the Internet. I decided to go on vine and check out some of Jacks vines sense he's so popular.

After a while of going through his vines which were mostly with Gilinsky I will admit some of them we're hilarious. I don't know when my moms going to want me to go to school, I defiantly hope it's not soon. The bright side is that I'm in my senior year so I'd only have a while longer until graduation.

I walked back downstairs looking at the pictures on the wall. Jack already graduated? I smile and continue walking downstairs accidentally bumping into someone. I look at and meet face to face with Sammy.
