Nothing. I couldn't see anything. The only thing I could think of was why it was so cold, why was it? Trying to bring my arms down to rub the sleep from my eyes I heard a clink clink that made my stomach lurch. I was chained, it wasn't a dream. I was kidnapped by the damn bastards. Trying to move my feet the same clink clink sound filled what I assumed to be my cell.

Suddenly the concrete door was yanked open, the light blinding me. Jessamine had her rich red hair in a loose ponytail, her brown eyes held pity. She looked like a normal girl in her blue jeans and pink t-shirt. Not like a kidnapper surprisingly. Why would she pity me? She put me in this situation.

"There's a room arranged for you up stairs. I'm going to come over and unchain you, we've put wolfs bane into your system. If you try to escape we will catch you in a matter of minutes and you will suffer horribly." So that's felt like I'd been asleep for a month, there was poison in my body, I would not heal, I'm not strong enough for normal activities with how weak I felt.

Her grip on my wrist was soft but firm, no doubt if I tried to break free she wouldn't hesitate to snap a bone. I'd been blind folded before she took me out of the dungeon. Why? I'm not the future alpha. None of this makes any sense, what didn't I know? Her words from before were rattling around my head over and over.

Pulling off my blindfold I took in my "room." It was a grey colour with a wall full of books across from me. A queen sized bed with a black and purple bed spread and one pillow. A plush couch was next to me and on the wall to my right was two doorways, no doors. A bathroom and a closet? How long were these people going to keep me?

"The bathrooms fully stocked on shampoo, body wash, razors and towels. The closet is filled of clothes all in your size. The door is locked on the outside Ms. Black so don't waste your time. You have two guards outside your door at all times. I suggest cleaning up before the beta comes to see you, he will be the only one you will be talking to during your stay here besides me." I watched dazed as she knocked on the door then it creaked open and she vanished outside.

Sitting on the floor I cried. The kind were you cried so hard you couldn't breathe and thought you were dying, before I slapped myself. Bethly Elizabeth Black you are an alpha don't you dare loose it. Chanting the words In my head I went into the bathroom and paused in awe. There was a foot clawed bathtub, much like the one in home that I hadn't had a chance to bathe in in forever. Quickly turning the water on to the hottest it would go I went to the closet.

Dresses. At least 50 different dresses stared back at me, not one pair of pants. Yanking down a navy blue dress that would've looked like an over sized shirt if it wasn't for the way it clinched at the waist. Slowing turning I looked at the bras and underwear. Pushing the though of how they got my sizes out of my head I grabbed a purple set and went back to the bath.
--------------------------
I'd sat on the edge of my bed for two hours waiting for the beta to arrive. This whole thing makes no sense, did my dad know? Is that why he asked me to take the knife? Obviously they weren't very used to kidnapping people considering they hadn't searched me for weapons. My knife had been left on me and was currently tucked into the side of my underwear.

Hearing the door click shut I looked up to see a tall man, almost seven foot at least. Standing up I observed him as he sat on the couch making it look much smaller than it was. He had messy brown hair that he kept running his fingers through. Green-grey eyes that looked cold as they studied me as I did him. Even if I stabbed him it would make no difference, he'd still be able to catch up to me I'm a matter of seconds.

"I'm James." He offered his hand. Turning I examined the bookshelves, ignoring his out stretched hand. Oh hey, we just kidnapped you and are probably going to kill you but we can still shake hands right? Snorting at how stupid he was I pulled out a book.
