the frabjous day is upon them, both armies arrived at the battlefield shaped as a chessboard. the white king got off his horse as the king of hearts did the same. they walk towards each other while Alex helps (Y/N) off the Bandersnatch before grabbing his shield and sword from the saddle.
once both kings were in front of each other, they gave each other a look. " hello, Irace." lewis said, " hello, lewis" Irace replied firmly. then the white rabbit blew a trumpet before speaking, " oh this, the frabjous day. the kings red and white shall send forth their champions to do battle on their behalf." the rabbit said. " oh, irace. we don't have to fight." lewis said kindly. but irace scoffs as he rolled his eyes. " I know what you're doing. you think you can blink those little eyes and I'll melt, just like mummy and daddy did." he said before lewis held out his hand. " please." lewis said firmly. the king of heart stays quiet before saying in anger, " NO! it is my crown! I am the eldest!" Irace then turned and yelled out, " JABBERWOCKY!" everyone looked behind the king of hearts army and felt the ground shake. Alex grabs (Y/N)'s hand as they held their breaths. they all watched as wings crashed out of a mountain before a head and body followed. the Jabberwocky lets out a roar that scared everyone, it was dark as night and its teeth were sharper than any sword. Alex gasps as he said, " this is impossible." the hatter then whispers to him, " only if you believe it is." the hatter said. they watched as the Jabberwocky crawled towards them as the ground kept shaking. " sometimes I believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast" Alex said as they hear the Jabberwocky roared. " that is an excellent practice." the hatter replied as the creature grew closer. " however, just at the moment, you really might want to focus on the Jabberwocky." the hatter said.
the Jabberwocky stood behind the red king, " where's your champion, brother?" irace said. Alex was about to walk towards the Jabberwocky but (Y/N) grabs him. " Alex, wait!" she said before placing a kiss on his lips, this made the king of heart growl before (Y/N) let's go of the kiss. " be safe" (Y/N) said before Alex made his way next to the white king. " I'm right here," Alex said answering irace's question. "hello, um," the king of heart said in anger before stepping away as the Jabberwocky made his way to Alex. Alex lowered the metal visor of his helmet and whispered to himself, " six impossible things. count them, Alex" he walked closer to the Jabberwocky, " one, there's a potion that can make you shrink." he said as the Jabberwocky stopped in front of him and lets out a roar. " two, and a cake that can make you grow." Alex said to himself before the dragon spoke in a low voice. " so, my old foe, we meet on the battlefield once again" the Jabberwocky said as his tongue went in and out like a lizard, " we've never met" Alex replied. " not you, insignificant bearer." the Jabberwocky said in anger making Alex step back a little. " my ancient enemy, the vorpal one." the Jabberwocky said looking at the sword. " that's enough chatter!" Alex said before swinging the sword and cutting the Jabberwocky's tongue off. it screeched in pain before swinging its tail at Alex knocking him to the ground, (Y/N) gasps as she went to help Alex but the hatter stop her.
Alex got up slowly as he said, " three, animals can talk" but then he looked up and saw the jabberwocky about to slam its foot on Alex, but Alex rolled away as the foot hit the ground. " four, Alex. " he continued as he shot up again, sword ready. " cats can disappear." he said as he swings his sword at the dragons, " five" the jabberwocky fire lighting out of its mouth, Alex blocks it with his shield. once the attack stopped Alex lowered his shield and said," there's a place called wonderland" he swung the sword again as the jabberwocky missed. Alex smiled behind his helmet and said, " six, I can slay the jabberwocky".
the battle continued, Alex kept swinging his sword before he was hit by the dragon and sent to a destroyed tower. once he hit the ground the sword left his hand, Alex looked and saw his sword before jumping up and taking off towards it as the jabberwocky gave chase. but then the hatter stabbed the jabberwocky's tail drawing his attention away from Alex. " the hatter's interfering" off with his head!" the king of hearts ordered his men and llosvic started charging towards the white king's army. (Y/N) watched as Alex climbed the old tower as the jabberwocky gave chase, she watched as llosvic locked the hatter to the ground. she pulled out her dagger and throws one at him, it hits his hand making him yell in pain before (Y/N) ran towards him and swung her sword at him. she cuts his check before kicking him to the ground. she grab the hatter's hand with a smile before they watched llosvic stand up.
