Chapter 4

Nikita's P.O.V
I had to say it but not being on a mission due to Alucard and Seras dealing with a couple of troublesome teens, I was wicked bored aside from learning how to run the family business and today was a little more hectic. Word had come that a meeting of the Knights of the round table would be taking place here; the people who are coming are the people that also serve under the queen and they worked with my mother. We had people that got quieted the internet, tv stations, and radio's about any activity that we may cause so a few of the people made sure all information of Hellsing vanished, another one makes our weapons which is basically all our guns and ammo.

As I was reading what the meeting would be about my mother slammed her phone down cursing under her breath and I looked to her. "What did he do this time?"

"Being his typical self he seems to be a little more trouble making lately like he's waiting for something to give." My mother grabbed a cigar and lit it as she sighed softly to relax.

I frowned softly. "Something hasn't been feeling right for awhile and both myself and Alucard can feel it. There has even been a spike in the amount of freaks that have been attacking and causing trouble for us; not to mention their causing trouble most time days before we're ever informed or even find them and by then the numbers are big plus not to mention how many of those vampires that we kill are kids? Something isn't settling well with me." I leaned back in the chair I was sitting in as I watched my mother seeing her softly curse and I fought back a small smile.

Walter had brought her tea and I knew that it was Earl Grey tea it was one of my mother's favourites. "I will have to agree with Nikita there has been an unusual large amount of very young vampires running rampant master."

My mother nodded her head in thanks before she looked to us. "Your not wrong; but we have confirmed that there has been no recent connections to any of them. But I know you and Alucard neither one of you two would be alert like this if there wasn't some kind of danger."

"We'll keep an eye on things especially Alucard; if anything seems off you know we will report to you immediately mother. Till then there isn't much we can do aside from working with Seras." I thought about how her training was going and looked to my mother seeing the look I was getting. "Don't get me wrong she's a great sharp shooter but because she refuses to drink blood it's getting on Alucard's nerves which is sort of funny."

"I imagine it is but he's not wrong and I know your aware of it as well that she needs to feed. Are you trying to help as well?" My mother spoke as she sat back in her seat and the way she sat was like she was the queen of hell and in a way I guess she was.

"I do try to help but she's still scared she says she feels like she'll loose a part of herself if she drinks blood. She'll be a good vampire one day but till then she'll have to sneak her way till she drinks blood and I hope it's soon." I could tell that the sun was close to coming up as I yawned.

My mother chuckled softly seeing that I was yawning. "Go rest for as long as you can. When you get up so long as there's no missions I would like you to train with Walter tonight on your wires."

I smiled softly as I got up. "I like that idea; it's been awhile since I've trained with Walter."

"It has been awhile I'm curious to see how much you've grown since I do know you train a lot young master." Walter spoke from his spot from besides my mother.

I smiled softly to him. "I've been training and using them whenever I can; I used them a little during the mission where Seras joined us as a vampire."

"Then I'm looking forward to our training session; I'm sure you will want to start as soon as you can when you wake up this evening." Walter spoke as I stood nodding my head.

"Yes I do believe that will be the best idea so long as there are no missions; if there is I would say send just Seras and Alucard that way I'm here as protection and can train without Alucard disturbing us again."

Walter and my mother chuckled as they remembered last time Alucard had disturbed my training with Walter I had shot shot before cutting him with my wires. Let's just say both myself and Alucard had been sent to our rooms for a few days due to some damages that we may have caused. Once I finished talking with my mother and Walter I left and walked to my room I didn't feel like hurrying to the basement tonight which was odd for me.

As I started started walking down the stairs I noticed that I wasn't alone and sighed softly. "You know Alucard I'm a big girl and can fend for myself. Now what is it you want?"

Alucard chuckled walking through the wall and he handed me a bag of blood and I nodded my head a little thanking him. "I came to see where you were I should have known that you were upstairs with your mother."

"Sorry we were going over some plans for tomorrow; I have training with Walter and if there's a mission I'm staying here while you and Seras will be sent." Walking with him and was shocked when he stopped me as I through my garbage out and I licked the blood away from my lips and looked to him curiously. "It's just so I can have training with Walter without anyone interfering and I should start hanging around the mansion a little more I still have things to learn about running the family business."

"Your mother has been training you all these years and we both know that you would be stir crazed if your here all the time; your not meant to be caged Nikita that's not who you are." Alucard spoke with a serious tone.

I sighed softly as I stopped at my door and thought about what he said. "One of us needs to start staying back; it's better if it's me I mean it's my duty right?"

"Your duty is making a change wether that's here or out in the field; you have been thinking about this a lot lately. Come with me I know something is bothering you Nikita." He took my hand and I gasped softly as he brought us to his room through the shadows.

"Alucard?! What the heck has..." I froze when he had moved and was sniffing at my neck and I sighed softly but was tense. "Let me go Alucard." Growling out my words and shivered when his breath hit one spot on my neck.

Alucard gave an amused smirk he knew exactly where I was sensitive on my neck but I knew he was also doing this since this was a game to him where he tried to find the trigger that would make me fight back. When I felt his mouth going lower I started fighting back and heard his laughter as I smirked playfully sneaking a kiss and when I felt his grip loosen I moved away smiling proudly. "I believe that's my win; but you should know what has been on my mind."

"Of course I do Nikita; but it's my job to keep you and your mother safe as well. That's all of our jobs and I don't want to see anything happen to you; besides your mother and Walter you have worked the longest besides me and was the first child not afraid of me."

I smiled softly and moved to sit on his bed as I hung my jacket on the back of a chair and kicked my boots off before sitting on the bed and crossed my legs; I saw Alucard smiled and follow my example as he walked over removing his hat, glasses, boots and coat before he laid down and rested his head on my lap and I gently ran my fingers through his hair.

"Your not going to loose time Alucard; I know you have a bond to my family and have been loyal to us all these years and I thank you for that. I have no reason to fear you, anything you do it is done usually within reason and many of those reasons is because it's our enemies. I know you turned me but you also still protect me during missions but still let me try my own powers on my own and I like that; I know people call you a monster but your not a monster to me your just someone who got dealt a crappy hand." Smiling softly but I could see my words soothed him and for once I liked it.

I felt Alucard take my hand from his hair and nuzzle my wrist and I understood what he wanted. "Go ahead I have nothing to hide from you Alucard."
