Chapter 10

Nikita's P.O.V
It had been a hectic few days but finally we were ready to take off for our mission, we were down stairs with myself finishing getting ready in my room, and Alucard was helping to get Seras to calm down in her coffin as they nailed it shut till we got to our destination.

I sighed softly walking into the room and smiled softly seeing Alucard talking with Integra and saw him look back and smirked seeing him walk over as I wore the ring he chose as well. "Hello handsome."

"My aren't you a sight for sore eyes my love." Seeing Walter had chosen a jacket to drape over my shoulders and Alucard held me close afterwards.

My mother smiled chuckling and I playfully stuck my tongue out hearing her laugh softly. "Better enjoy it mother this will never happen again." Hearing more laughing from the people around me.

"Never in my life have I thought that you would wear a dress, your beautiful Nikita. Alucard keep her safe and don't kill anyone just make sure they get the idea that she is with you." My mother spoke sternly but I knew she found me in a dress very amusing.

"I'll keep her safe as I always have my master." Alucard bowed to her and when he stood I stepped up hugging my mother gently.

"I'll be alright mother." Smiling softly and I knew wether or not I was a vampire...I was still her daughter the one person she feared loosing in this world.

"You better be safe. May god and Queen be with you all." My mother spoke before I linked my arm with Alucard's as we walked to the car we would be taking to the airport...the only other downside I had; I was wearing heels and since I stood at 5'9" and Alucard stood over 6' he still had height on me.

We walked together with grace that I had to learn since I started living with my mother. Once we got to the car Alucard opened the back passenger door and helped me inside first and once I was in he closed my door then got into the back on the driver side and soon enough we were all travelling to the airport.

Pip had been sent with us as a bodyguard in our little mission, well it was more of a lie then anything else. We travelled around an hour before arriving at the airport and myself, Pip, Alucard walked onto the jet and I noticed that Alucard was tense and I knew why.

We didn't know where our enemies were, if they were watching us or not. Once on the plan I removed the jacket covering me and sighed softly but tiredly. Seras was in her coffin but it was loaded on with us, it took awhile before we took off.

Much of our weapons and some other things had been sent a different style that was illegal but so long as no one knew then we wouldn't have to worry. I rested my head against Alucard's arm till he shifted and made me blush as he brought me onto his lap after unbuckling my seat belt.

Pip watched in amusement but spoke. "How long have you both known each other?"

"I would visit mom when my father was alive since I was little; but around three years ago I was with my mother, Walter and Alucard in a meeting with the queen when an attack happened." Feeling Alucard tense and I looked to him and gently held his arm in hopes of calming down and felt his muscles relax.

Pip noticed and I playfully rolled my eyes as he chuckled. "You two get along nicely."

"Only depends on the situation, but I could not have asked for a better teacher in being a vampire. And no Alucard your head doesn't need to get any bigger then it already is." I playfully scolded Alucard as he chuckled and poured drinks for himself and myself.

Alucard handed a glass of blood wine to me. "I would never allow that to go to my head my love."

Pip had a newspaper in his hands as he looked to us and shook his head. "Vampires drinking wine and dressed fine. Never thought I would see something like this."
