"Hey [ your name ]?" Spencer asked, not even bothering to glance up from the file he was searching in. It kind of irked me, but I wouldn't say that aloud. I couldn't help but stare at the way he bites his lip.

"[ your name ]?" I quickly snapped out of my daze, sitting up straighter. I flicked a piece of hair from my face.
"Uh sorry, what is it?"

I raise a brow. What's so important to look at that he won't say aloud?

As I was walking towards him, I noticed he wouldn't look me straight in the eye.
I frowned. "Reid?" I stepped closer. "Reid are you -"
You ever have that one moment. One moment when you don't realize what's happening. Like, a: "What the hell is going on moment?" Because honestly. Same.

It took me a while to process the feeling of Spencer's lips on mine. I guess he took that as me not wanting to respond because he quickly pulled away.
[ Or are you deceived? ]
"I-I'm sorry. I don't know w-what came over me - I need to go-" Before he could even take another step I grabbed him by the shirt.
"Spencer..."
"Yes [ your name ]?"
"Shut up and kiss me."

He smashed his lips onto mine immediately, pinning me between him and the nearest wall. I waste no time in tangling my hands in his long brown locks, tugging on them lightly. His hands grip my hips and he pulls me closer, trailing his soft lips down my neck.
I'm in bliss.

"Promise me..." He murmured, teasing the skin at the nape of my neck. "Promise me no one will find out."
"I promise Spencer."
"Good."

The next few months were absolutely awkward and horrible. As I recall the events of that night find myself turning red as hell.

I was avoiding Spencer, and he seemed to be avoiding me as well. It was hard, and I'm pretty sure everyone has noticed this tension between us.
I want to talk to him about it. But... He made it obvious he doesn't want a relationship. It was a one-time thing and I'm not sure I'm okay with that.

I told Hotch I was going home. He didn't question me thankfully, seeming to sense I was in a bad mood. As I was walking out into the work area, I noticed Spencer laughing with a girl. Someone I didn't know obviously.
He seemed to know her well.

I don't bother saying goodbye to anyone. I just leave.

In fact, he relished the feeling.
"Tell me how you feel about me." He demands.
"I don't love you..."
"Good. I don't need your love."
