Now this is the darkest I've ever written like so dark that it makes Irrational(?) Hatred seem lighthearted in comparison
Don't come at me for this I always put trigger warnings before the start of the chapter if you're not comfortable don't read
There are a few major reveals here, but if the trigger warnings scared you off, it's okay to skip this chapter, you can always ask someone who read it for whatever I revealed
TW: slight mentions of blood, arson, murder, emotional manipulation, (kinda) graphic rape, minor blackmail
Solon groggily opened his eyes. His head hurts. His surroundings were a bit dark, but he had night vision, and he could see that he was in an unfamiliar room, and when he tugged at his hands he realized he was tied up.
He tugged and tugged at his binds but they didn't come off.
Enzy, I'm sorry.... I-I was about to come, but someone took me... I just woke up and don't where I am... and I'm... I'm really scared... Solon thought. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping when he wakes up, it'll be a different room, and Enzy would be next to him. When he opened his eyes, everything was the same, and he was alone. Solon groaned, searching the room for ways to escape.
"Oh, good morning, little one." A man's deep voice boomed. He was tall, probably taller than Enzy, and as bulky as Najak. He was also holding a cloth and a first aid kit for some reason.
Solon watched as the man walked closer and sat next to him. He felt confused when he gently wiped his face, at least until when he was done and he saw blood on the now dirty cloth. But the thing he was most confused of was why the man seemed so... familiar.
"Some of your injuries were severe, so I was surprised to see they've healed so quickly." Solon looked at himself, feeling dread when he realized most of his clothes were gone, except a large silky shirt that wasn't his and his underwear. More dread came when a rough hand went on his thigh, softly caressing it. Solon moved his thigh away, eyes glowing.
"They were badly damaged in the fight so there was no point in keeping them on." Solon noted that everything the man said was a lie except the "fight" word. But he remembered being drugged to sleep with a strange scent before he could react. "Fight?"
"Ah... right... the side effects were not remembering much, your memory of the event must be lost in your mind. In the middle of the journey, you woke up, transformed into a wolf, and attacked. It took a while and a great deal of vampires to restrain you again. And you wake up, still as feisty as ever, half transformed."
Solon ignored that he was half transformed as he searched his memories for that fight. He didn't notice the man remove his restraints until he felt a hand on his chin turn him to meet his captor and his piercing silver eyes. They looked so familiar, but he can't put his finger on it.
"My name is Richard, and you've grown more beautiful since that day in the orphanage." The man, Richard says, hands in Solon's messy hair.
Solon whacked his hands away. "What do you mean... day in... the orphanage...?"
"You don't remember? Or are you just suppressing the memory?" Richard asked. When Solon refused to answer, he tapped the younger's forehead.
----
It was a normal day in the Vamfield House orphanage. The kids were outside under the sun, playing all kinds of games. A majority were playing hide-and-seek, a few others were doing different activities like playing catch, testing out makeshift rockets, and ziplining on a handmade zipline.
