Here it is! Jakah, Heli and Jaan's part!
Sorry this took a while it was Holy Week in my country last week and with all the dark themes in this story it felt inappropriate to post at that time
Might have more angst since they were ranked as the ones that treated him the worse
I was indecisive on whether Jakah or Heli should be first but then I remembered Heli was the one who introduced Sooha to everyone... so yeah...
Also, I made Jakah the captain of their nightball team since he seems like the most passionate of nightball, also Jungwon is ENHYPEN's leader
TW: mentions of using slurs, sexual assault, minor violence, brief slut-shaming, probably not that well-portrayed PTSD and panic attack
"Really, you've got to stop being late for practice on purpose." Jakah sighed frustratedly, rubbing at his temple. "It's like you want me to kick you out."
"I swear it wasn't on purpose this time! I couldn't find my pants!" Jaan whined.
Jakah shook his head in disappointment. "That is the dumbest excuse I ever heard."
"Oh c'mon! I'm telling the truth this time!"
"Eh, there's no point in scolding you anymore, and you're here anyway, so I guess we can start practicing." Jakah says, and everyone ran to the field.
"Wait, we can't practice yet! Solon's not here!"
"He's with the Sunshine City wolves, remember?" Jino reminds him. "Weren't you also there when he asked to have a break? It was just two days ago!"
"Talk later! We have to fucking practice!" Jakah yelled at the two.
As they continued to play, the ball went over the bounds. Way over the bounds.
"Guess we'll have to ask the school for a new one." Jakah sighed. "Again."
"There's no need for that." A voice said.
The team turned to where the voice was. It was Solon, dressed in the PE uniform, holding the glowing white ball in his hands.
"Sol! You're back!" Jakah says, running up to him. "Does this mean you're coming back to the team?"
Solon sighed. Not in a good way. "Can I talk to you alone, Captain?" The tone of his voice was deathly serious.
They went to the locker room.
"What's wrong, Sol?" Jakah asked.
Solon fiddled with his fingers. "I'm... quitting the team."
Jakah was shocked. Solon was one of their best players, and his position was important. He wanted to protest, talk him out of it, convince him to reconsider, maybe even resort to begging.
But Solon seemed to know, because he spoke again. "I... Honestly, I never really liked nightball like you guys. I only joined when you asked me to because... I didn't want you guys to hate me if I chose not to. But ever since... that day... I see that it's unhealthy to be so self-sacrificing... especially when no one would appreciate what I've done... I'm sorry, Jakah. I know it's weird to just to quit right now, but I've been thinking about this for, I don't know, three years now. I just... only recently found the courage to do so."
Jakah stepped forward. Solon closed his eyes, fully expected to be hit.
He opens it when he felt arms around him, hugging him gently.
"I should be the one apologizing. It was wrong of me to be angry at you for something you didn't ask to have. I even yelled a couple of slurs. You deserve none of that, and I'm so sorry, Sol."
