    Lydia Alvarado had made many mistakes making many regrets in her life, but meeting Sarah Cameron and becoming her best friend would never be one of them. Sarah and Lydia had met in the second grade, Lydia having the trait of being an introvert made her keep to herself most of the time. But when she saw Sarah getting teased by her older brothers friends for her pigtails with bright pink bows she had the sudden confidence to go up to them and defend the shorter girl with a frown on her face, on the edge of tears.

When the boys had laughed at her attempt to make them leave Sarah alone she had snapped and sucker punched the boy who had the most to say (who would soon become the third member of Sarah and Lydias friendship making them an unbreakable trio)

That was how Lydia and Sarah first became best friends. As the years went on, Lydia and Sarah grew older, blossomed, looks matured and more, Boys came into their lives (mostly Sarah's) and Lydia stood in the shadows with a sick feeling in her heart watching as Sarah fell in love and ended up shutting out anyone who ever tried getting close to her.

When Sarah and Lydia were in the sixth grade that's when Lydia found out her true attractions she never told anyone though, due to the fact that around the time she came to her senses she had also found out that she was in love with her best friend.
