Coffee Together

A week later,

Today Haseena had a day off,Avni had went to visit her mother for a week so she decided to do some shopping and then have a coffee at her favourite cafe.

It was around 6 in the evening Haseena was tired after her 3hour long shopping session and was finally at the entrance of her favourite coffee shop 'cup o' Joe'.She parked her car and was walking towards the main door of the cafe thinking about the delicious caramel macchiato they serve along
with dried cranberries when she collided with someone."I'm so sorry.."her words stopped in the middle when she saw the man to be none other than Anubhav.

"Aap humesha aise hi chalti hain kya Miss Malik"he asked smiling with a playful tone.
Haseena downcasted her eyes biting her lower lip out of embarassment.He must be thinking her to be a very clumsy person but that was not the case at all.How could she tell him that she was super hungry and was busy dreaming about her coffee thus didn't notice him?

She mumbled a sorry again and was about to excuse herself when he asked
"Kya aap humare saath coffee peena pasand karengi?" out of the blue.
She was startled at his sudden questions but then happily agreed to his request.

Anuseena took a table at the far corner of the shop.The atmosphere of the cafe was pretty romantic with dimly lit incandescent bulb and fairy lights,soft violen playing
'I can't help falling in love with you'

A waiter came to take their orders,Haseena ordered Caramel Macchiato for herself while Anubhav ordered Irish coffee for himself.

"Anything else sir-ma'am" The waiter asked.

"One butter croissant"both said in unison and left out a chuckle looking at each other.

"Toh aap iss cafe mein humesha aati hain Miss Malik?"Anubhav asked to initiate a conversation.

"Jab waqt milta hain..humara favourite coffee shop hain Yeh."she replied with a smile.

"Hume bhi yeh jagah kaafi pasand hain...yeh shaher k Zara offside mein hain isiliye zyada bheed nahi hoti...hume aisa shaant atmosphere kaafi pasand hain."

"Hume bhi..warna humare office k opposite mein hi ek bada cafe hain par waha itni bheed hoti hain aur shor hota hain ki humara sar dard karne lagta hain."

They were talking on random topics.Haseena who being an introvert avoids making new friends or meeting new people felt strangely comfortable around Anubhav.
On the other hand Anubhav being the rudest person alive hated people's company and being an workaholic never liked wasting time but much to his surprise also,he was liking Haseena's company.Her words worked as honey for his ears..he wanted to drown himself in her kohled eyes.He was also surprised when he asked her for coffee..it was as if his mouth had mind of its own.But now it felt like the best decision ever made.

The waiter arrived with their orders.Anubhav took a sip of his Irish coffee and asked "Waise aap Neil ko kaise jaanti hain?"

"Hum,Neil aur Avni ek hi college mein jaate the.Neil aapke bare mein kaafi batein karta tha..aap shayad usswaqt out of India the?"

"LA mein the hum usswaqt."

They chatted for some more time talking about their hobbies,food preferences and many more random topics.

As they finished their food Anubhav called the waiter for bill.Haseena pulled out her wallet to pay when Anubhav said "Miss Malik hum pay karte hain."

"Nahi Mr.Singh please hum pay karenge."

"Accha fine...chaliye split karlete hain."Anubhav spoke as in that little time he understood that she is a lady who values her self respect and morals more than anything.Haseena smiled listening to him and both paid the bill.

Anubhav walked her upto her car.
"Sambhal kar jaiyega"he said as she started the ignition.
"Aap bhi"she replied and drove away.

There the big businessman and one of the biggest gangsta of underworld Anubhav Singh was standing scratching the nape of his neck like a teenager whose crush had replied to his text.

Night:

Anubhav was lying on his bed,smiling remembering his today's encounter with Haseena.He turned to his side and noticed his reflection in the mirror and was astonished to find himself smiling which was very very rare for him.

Anubhav's pov:

Yeh kya ho raha hain hume..Miss Malik ka khyal humare dimaag jaa kyun nahi raha..jab se unse mile hain tabse aisa kyun lag raha hain ki hum unse baar bar Mile..kahi hume!Nahi nahi aise kaise abhi thode dino pahele toh hum unse mile hain...
Parantu yeh baat toh sach hain ki woh bohot pyari hain...charehe se bhi aur niyat se bhi.Kitna accha lagta hain hume unke saath waqt bitana...

And slowly he drifted off to sleep with her thoughts in his mind.

Haseena's POV:

Yeh Mr,Singh kitne acche hain na..kitne sweet aur polite hain.Neil toh aise hi unhe khadoos bolta raheta hain.Kitna accha laga unke saath aaj waqt bitake.Aur unhone Humare baat ka maan rakhte hue bill bhi split kar diya jabki koi aur hota toh male ego k chalte hume pay nahi Karne deta.Aur kitne handsome lag rahe the Aaj woh apne casuals mein,nahi Haseena yeh kya soch rahi ho...nahi par sachmein handsome toh hain woh.

Then she chuckled to herself on her silly thoughts and slept.
