The Argument

Office Canteen:

"Haseena aaj shaam ko kya kar rahi hain?"Avni asked sitting on the chair beside her.

"Kuch nahi,kyun?"she replied taking a bite of her

"Toh let's hangout na...jabse Anubhav aaya hain tu toh mujhe bhul hi gayi hain."she said with fake sadness.

"Kuch bhi!(She rolled her eyes)..bolo kahan jana hain?"

"Kaam zyada nahi hain toh khadoos Nitin ko bolke jaldi nikalte hain..pahele shopping chalte hain phir dinner karke ghar jayenge."she said excitedly.

"Badhiya plan hain...hum Anubhav ko text kar dete hain ki hume late hoga."

Anubhav's office:

Anubhav was engrossed in his laptop when someone knocked on the cabin door.

"Come in"

"Sir,aapke liye ek parcel aaya hain."the person said entering his cabin.

Anubhav looked up from his laptop to see the man holding a medium sized box.

"Rakhdo table par..(he did accordingly)tum jaa sakte ho."

After the man left Anubhav immediately took the parcel in his hand.The top of the parcel had a small envelope attached to it.

"Save Haseena if you can!"

He tore open the cover of the box and opened it to find few pictures in it.They were pictures of Haseena and Avni at several place of a mall.
His phone beeped with a message.

"Kaisa laga mera gift?"

Anubhav's anger knew no bounds at the same time he was worried about her whoever this person was he very well knew that she was the only one whom he cared for in the whole world and thus made her his Target to break him.
Anubhav hurriedly dialled Haseena's number,she picked up after two rings..

"Haa Anubhav boliye."

"Aap kahan hain isswaqt."he asked impatiently.

"Mall mein hain Anu, message toh kiya tha aapko."she replied.

"Aap jald se jald ghar lautiye."

"Haa..bas dinner karke ghar lautenge."

"Nahi!Aap isiwaqt gaadi mein baithengi aur ghar lautengi..samjhi"he said with his voice raised.

"Anubhav kya hua hain,aap aise kyun baat kar rahe hain?!"she asked perplexed and hurt at his tone.

"Jitna kaha hain utna kijiye please Haseena."he said and cut the call.

"Ghar chalte hain Haseena..dinner phir kabhi karlenge."Avni said, she had heard everything as Haseena mistakenly had turned on the speaker mode.

"Isse pahele inhone kabhi aise baat nahi kiya humse..kya ho gaya aaj?"

"Shayad pareshan hain..ghar jakar baat karlena."Avni said though she herself was pretty offended by Anubhav's behaviour.

On her way to home Anubhav had called her few times but she was too annoyed to talk to him.
As soon as she reached home she was pulled into his strong arms,he had hugged her tightly as if she would evaporate any moment but she didn't hug him back.After sometime she broke the Hug..

"Hum aapko kitni baar phone karrahe the..aap phone kyun nahi utha Rahi thi?"

"Ghar hi toh aarahe the...isiliye nahi uthaya..abb bataiyye kyun hume itni jaldi mein bulaya?"she asked with annoyance evident in her tone.

"Hume apki fiqr ho rahi thi..aap janti hain na woh goli chalane wala insaan abhi tak pakda nahi gaya."He said fumbling a bit.

"Toh uske liye toh aapne do bodyguards diye hue hain humein...aur fiqr hain toh aap waise baat karenge humse?"she asked coldly.
