Office Canteen:

It was lunch time.Haseena was listening to Avni's continuous rant about one one of their nosy colleague while munching on her taco.

"Accha baba thik hain na..hogaya..aab shaant ho jao."she tried to calm Avni down.

Avni opened her mouth to say something when Haseena's phone rang.Her eyes sparkled seeing the caller ID,she immediately picked up the call.

"Hello,main yaad hu ki bhool gayi?"The called asked teasingly.

"Chup Karo tum..hum bhul gaye?last office ki anniversary party thi ussdin phone kiya tha phir koi ata pata nahi tumhara."she said making a grumpy face.

"Arey main 1mahine k liye NYC gaya hua tha office k kaam se.Accha sun main kal aaraha hu."

"Mazak mat karo."Haseena chided.

"Arey main mazak nahi karraha sachmein aaraha hu...subha pounchunga..breakfast bhi tere yaha karunga...apne haathon ki aloo Puri banakar khilana..samjhi"

"Tum sach mein aarahe ho?Hume yakin nahi ho raha..thik hain phir kal milte hain.Aur agar yeh mazak hua na Adi toh dekhlena..baat nahi karenge phir kabhi tumse."she warned.

"Lagta hain jab kal saamne dekhogi tabhi tumhe yakin hoga.chal rakhta hu abhi.Bye."

"Kon tha Hasi?"Avni asked.

"Adi..matlab Aditya ka phone tha..kal aaraha hain woh humse Milne."she said excitedly.

"Aditya matlab tere schooltime ka bestfriend na?"

"Haa..pata pure 3saal baad milenge hum usse.Humse toh intezaar hi nahi horaha...waise Avni woh aayega toh kuch din rukega humare yaha koi problem toh nahi hain na?"Haseena asked.

"Arey kya problem..koi problem nahi hain"Avni said moving her hand in air.

It was 7am when Haseena's door bell rang..not once but numerous time at a stretch..

"Arey aarahe hain...darwaza kholne wala Chalke aata hain uddkar nahi."she said irritatedly while opening the door.But her annoyed expression changed into a happy one when she saw the person infront of her.

"Adi"She immediately jumped on him hugging him tightly,he too hugged her back.

"Abb yaakin hua ki main aaya hu?!"he asked chuckling.

"Haa..ab andar aao."

Meanwhile a sleeping Avni came out of her room hearing noises.

"Hey Avni,kaisi ho tum?"

"Arey Aditya aagaye tum..main bilkul thik hu..tum kaise ho?"She asked sitting on the couch infront of him still struggling to open her eyes fully.

"Main ekdum fit and fine."

"Adi Avni dono fresh ho jao..bas pooriyan talna baki hain phir hum breakfast lagate hain."

"Haa tu breakfast laga..main khakar phir se so jaungi..yeh night shift ki duty se na mujhe sakht chid hain."She said yawning.

"Same here."Aditya replied.

The trio had their breakfast while laughing and talking along with Adiseena bickering over silly things.

Evening:

Avni was still not back from office.Haseena had taken a day off to spend sometime with her old friend.Both of them decided to have icecream at her favourite ice cream parlour that was a 20minute drive from her home.

Anubhav was passing by the same icecream parlour when he noticed Haseena coming out.

"Gaadi roko."he ordered his driver.

He crossed the road and went near her.

"Jaan."he touched her shoulder from behind.She flinched at the sudden touch but relaxed seeing him.

"Anu,aap yaha?"

"Haan bas hum guzar rahe the yaha se..apko dekha toh aagaye.Humne aapko kitni bar call Kiya aap phone kyun nahi utha Rahi hain?"

She checked her phone,indeed there were 5missed calls from him.

"Sorry Anu oh phone silent PE tha.."

"Koi baat nahi...waise aap kisika intezar kar rahi hain?"

Before she could answer Aditya came there.

"Hasi yeh le pakad Avni ka tutti frutti icecream."He said handing over a box to her.
Haseena noticed Anubhav's questioning gaze at Aditya.

"Anubhav isse miliye yeh hain humare school time ka bestfriend Aditya Khurrana.Aur Adi inse milo yeh hain humare boyfriend Anubhav Singh"she introduced them.

"Ae pagal Inko introduction ki kya zaroorat hain..inhe kon nahi jaanta.Nice to meet you Mr.Singh"He forwarded hand for a handshake.Anubhav shook hand with him and spoke.

"Introduction ki beshak zaroorat hain..warna aapko kaise pata chalta ki hum jaan k Anu bhi hain."he said putting an arm around her shoulder.She smiled at this.

"Neil ko jaante ho na(adi nodded)..yeh Neil k bade bhai bhi hain."

"Accha toh yahi hain Neil k khadoos Bhai"he said in flow flow but immediately bit his tongue realising his mistake.Haseena laughed at this.

"Lagta hain humari image sach mein bohot kharab hain."He said smiling, contented seeing his lady happy.

Haseena's home:

It was around 11 Haseena Avni and Aditya were still chatting.When an idea clicked Haseena's mind.
"Kyun na hum sab ekdin saath mein dinner karein?Neil aur Anu ko bhi bulayenge.Hum khud khana banayenge."

"Yeh toh badhiya plan hain phone laga Neil aur Mr Singh ko"Avni said excitedly.

"Arey kya..raat k gyara baj gaye hain..kal subha phone karna."Aditya said.

"Arey nahi Anubhav toh night owl hain..parantu abhi call nahi karenge..kal subha aram se call Karenge..abhi hume neend aarahi hain."she said yawning.

"Avni main aaj tumhare kamre so jau?toh Adi humare room mein so payega."

"Arey nahi...tu apne room mein so Jaa..main iss sofe par so jaunga."

"Arey Aditya koi baat nahi...Haseena so jayegi na mere saath."

"Avni,please no formalities...yeh sofa cum bed hain na..main isspar aram se so jaunga..Hasi tu bas yeh AC on karde living room ki.."

"Jaisa tumhe thik Lage."

She turned on the AC and gave him the remote.She went to kitchen and brought him a water bottle.she went inside and brought a AC blanket for him.

"Thik hain phir...Adi yeh raha paani raat ko pyas lage toh..aur yeh lo blanket.Good Night,then."

"Goodnight.Jaate jaate light off karti jaa".
She nodded and went inside turning off the lights of the living room.
